Specialties
First and foremost, hospitality is the cornerstone of our business. With extending our concept from our sister restaurant, Daniel Island Grille, we have also opened up with many new and exciting things including our Drink Exchange Program, and working with all of the other restaurants and bars in the area for special events and holidays to provide the block parties of the year. With 17 TVs throughout the restaurant including a 4′ x 6′ projector screen, we provide the most exciting place to watch any sporting event you can imagine, with all the packages. With the assumption as you walk in and check out the menu, you’ll notice we have an exquisite wide variety of «bar food». Once you «DIG» in you will find out quickly the quality of the food is far beyond your typical «bar food». From salads to sandwiches, speciality burgers and hot dogs, you will also find great appetizer and wing selections that are sure to please everyone’s taste buds. Can you DIG it?
History
Established in 2011.
From the wonderful, business and hospitality minds of our owners, Thomas Dowling and Brian Mahoney, our first business establishment in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC started in 2008 with the opening of Daniel Island Grille. From there the business has only began to grow. With extending out of Daniel Island Grille we also have Daniel Island Catering. In January of 2011 we opened Dublin Down Irish Pub, with cool and refreshing Irish beers on tap, to the warm and taste bud pleasing entrees such as O’Mahoneys Pot Roast and Max’s Bangers & Mash. September 2011 we purchased a food truck and turned it into The DIG Rig running all over Charleston. With the opening of DIG in the Park, it only came within the matter of a week. With flipping the once mexican restaurant, and originally an old gas and service station, into our friendly and inviting sports bar in just 5 days. From there each week has been an adventure with adding new and exciting things to our line-up.
