Vaughn’s Refuse

First, they brought a dumpster full of trash to us. Then we had to call and ask what was going on. They claimed it was only half full (which was NOT even close) and said they’d charge us $ 90 instead of $ 150 for the dumpster– not half the price.
We decided to just accept it because really we only needed about as much space as was left in the dumpster and even at $ 90 it was far cheaper than anyone else. And the thing was already in our driveway and we had set up with friends to come over and help so what could we do?
Then my husband stopped and paid them. A few months later we get an overdue bill. My husband called and explained that we already paid. They confirmed that we did. But another two months later we get ANOTHER overdue bill. So once again we had to call an argue that we already paid.
I don’t know that this wasn’t a simply billing error but couple that with the ¾ full dumpster and not even a ½ price discount I couldn’t help but feel completely take advantage of and swindled.
Overall, simply not worth the headache.
