Was on business in Canton and was looking for a restaurant. Unilocalers seem to like Nuevo Acapulco so thought I’d give it a try. First the entrance. Strange. Go through double doors and it’s like the entrance to an office building is on the right and the restaurant is to the left. Different. Restaurant is very spacious. Chips are, well, chips. Tableside Guac could be better. Guy making it had a tendency to want to turn the avocado into paste. Had a combo plate of Chili Verdi (green sauce with large chunks of pork which were very good), Chili Colorado (beef in a red chili sauce. Not good. Like strips of over cooked fajita in a too spicy orange-​ish sauce). Side of Rice and Beans. All in all the food was not bad. Not the best Mexican food but serviceable. Wait staff was great. Very engaging and not hovering. So if, for some reason, you’re in Canton and want Mexican the Nuevo Acapulco might not be a bad choices.

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good, especially the salsa. Our waiter was friendly and patient as we chose what we wanted from the menu. The owner, I presume, greeted us personally when we arrived and made sure we enjoyed our meal when we were done. I had a very tasty Margaretta. The only downside was the price of said drink. However it was a large glass so I can’t complain too much. I would recommend this restaurant if you want delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.

All of the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food seemed very fresh and was extremely delicious. The plates are huge, the seasoning are in perfect proportion, and they offered table side guacamole.
The updates to the restaurant are also very nice. It is a much better atmosphere and appears very clean. The owner came around and asked all of the guests how their meals were and asked us again and thanked us on our way out. That type of service goes a long way. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.

Love this spot! They have retained the delicious chips and salsa recipe of the previous owner but brought the menu up a notch. They do table side guacamole and I frequently get a large tortilla soup for lunch. It is hearty and loaded with chicken. Excellent chile relleno as well (with a full size pepper of course!) location is clean and spacious and we have always had great service!

Awesome! Super clean environment, everyone was helpful and the service was amazing. And I am not sure what is in the Acapulco Burrito but it was a mouth full of wonderful. Tacos = Bueno! Fresh fresh fresh! Our kids ordered extra tacos and they were at our table faster then a speeding bullet. Come check this place out!

Tonight was our first time here. I have to say that our dinner was perfect and the service was awesome too. All four of us LOVED the food and the salsa was amazing. We definitely will be back soon. We were happy to see that they have Churros on their menu. Our new favorite spot for Mexican food!

Someone had mentioned going here and said it was better then El Camps, I was like yeahhhh right. I WAS WRONG. THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT in the area. The menu is AWESOME and the serve is great. MUST MUST MUST go here!!!

My husband and I were here for a Friday night date. Food was fantastic! We had the table side guacamole which was delicious. Portion sizes were generous. Wait staff excellent. A little higher priced than restaurant previously here but well worth it. Will definitely be back!

The new menu is great. There are actually some menu items that I’ve never seen at other Mexican restaurants. We went with 4 people and everyone enjoyed their food. The salsa was excellent. The portion sizes were huge and I was full after eating only half of my plate. We will definitely be back.

Not really impressed anymore. Loved the old Chips and Salsa. Although they’ve made a lot of improvements in the décor, the menu is way too big, portions are too small for the price. The food was good, just not enough of it. Margaritas were good.
