Our mission is to provide customers the healthy dining experience that will take away the guilt of dining out a few times per week. In fact, our most popular chicken teriyaki dish contains about 640 calories per serving and our sushi dishes contain about 25 to 110 calories per serving.

Founded in 1987, Sarku Japan introduced fresh «made-​to-​order» Japanese cuisine prepared with high quality ingredients to provide a tasty, healthy, nutritious alternative to traditional fast food meals.

Sarku Japan was the first to establish the concept of Teppanyaki-​style, freshly cooked Japanese cuisine in food courts of major regional shopping centers. Today, we are still the only QSR operator to offer this distinguishing Teppanyaki feature as a national standard.

Van L, a former Finance Manager, at various fortune 500 companies.

In 2008, he decided to leave Corporate life to spend time with his family and was inspired with an opportunity to combat obesity epidemic by providing healthy, nutritious, fresh, tasty and inexpensive food to the local community members.

To Van, Sarku Japan Teriyaki and Sushi express is more than just a restaurant. It is a quick service restaurant with a responsibility to help community members to consume healthy food and an affordable price.
