Haven’t stepped foot into a library for some time. I guess I was so used to my kindle and purchasing my books from Barnes & Noble. If you’re a bookworm like myself you don’t realize how quickly the prices add up from buying books all the time which is what ultimately led me back to dusting off my library card and putting it to some use. The relationships that all local libraries have these days make it extremely easy to check out books no matter what city or town you reside in. As long as you have a card you can borrow books from any participating city library. The North Bergen library is smaller than others I’ve been to such as Hoboken but it’s the tiny size that makes it feel like your friendly neighbor library. It’s organized so nicely and every person who works there is always willing to help. The NB library offers convenient hours extending all the way to Sunday. Tons of extra activities such as Zumba, Book Club, and Movie Night are offered during the week and month. I think it’s safe to say I’m hooked on using the library more often again and it’s definitely due to North Bergen’s great impression they left on me.

I could endlessly rant and rave about libraries for days but this particular location can use a few updated books. Still a great source of a library to go to and it serves it’s purpose but I found myself still hungry for books after visiting here. A few classic titles and this place will be unstoppable. One visit was not enough to intrigue me but I am a firm believer in second chances! Will try again soon!

Great library! They have a huge selection, and are part of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System(BCCLS), a consortium of 75 libraries. That means if they don’t have it, they can get it! Movies, CDs, and every book you need or want. Support your public library. The space itself is nice. They have quiet seating areas, computers, and are attached to the community theater.
