Ralph Muniz is an EMT for the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). He is a certified BLS instructor for the American Heart Association (AHA) and offers BLS for Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver and First Aid courses. He is also an authorized training center for the American Health and Safety Institute (ASHI). offering courses in Wilderness Survival, CPR + AED, Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS). Additionally, he is an authorized provider (AP) and a licensed training provider (LTP) for the American Red Cross (ARC) — providing courses in CPR + AED First Aid and BLS for Healthcare Providers.

History

Established in 2007.

Iron Hand Rescue (IHR) was created by Ralph Muniz.

Ralph was a very succesful music business entrepreneur. Managing grammy award winning DJ producer/​artists and touring for over 20 years globally with the best dance and latin music artists and musicians.

It was until one day while on tour a that he received a call from a family member that his Mother choked in her own home on a piece of bread while eating breakfast.

No one knew CPR or First Aid.

Director Ralph later decided to take a CPR + AED course, but found all classes where very dry and video boring. Soon after IHR was created with a mission to ensure that anyone can get the most resourceful yet easy and entertaining skills to save a life.

Later Ralph Muniz became part of the most elite emergency medical pre hospital care service in the world. He was recruited into The New York City Fire Department EMS Division. He became an FDNY EMT, serving all 5 boroughs throughout New York City’s 911 rescue system.
