Front desk staff was barely polite. Clean non smoking room. Teeny little mounted flat screen tv(maybe 20″) and a small fridge. AC and heat work. Bathroom is clean. No major complaints. We just got a room to take showers after Puget Sound Energy failed to turn on our gas after install(unfortunately on a Friday — no heat including hot water, until Monday). For $ 77 a night, you get what you pay for.

Should be 60 $. Front staff was very rude as they explained there is no early check in. Not even by 45 min. Had a nice time with my kids as we came back that evening and explained what a DUI is and why the man in the parking lot was getting one. No smoking signs everywhere but the building smells like smoke. Finally, a sign in our room promised a continental breakfast(donuts) from 4 – 10:30 am. When my kids bounced downstairs really excited to have one at 8 am the staff rudely explained we were too late. There are better hotels

The rate is reasonable, cheap gas next door and by Popeyes Chicken are the pluses. Oh and they allow dogs. Walls are thin 1st night the person next to me left the tv on all night and I could hear it clear as day. 2nd night I can hear the person upstairs walking(stomping) around. It sounds like elephants tap dancing. They need more parking spaces, instead they have employee parking up front… It still needs more updating…

Affordable lodging located right off the 90. All the staff I interacted with were friendly. My smoking room reeked. I don’t smoke cigarettes habitually. I do vape. Vaping can still come up hot on a wall-swab test. I did not want to take my chances. The staff offered to change my sheets to non-smoker. That was incredibly kind. It made my stay much better. The coffee was not very good. The microwave in the lobby was very useful and clean.

Rooms are affordable and clean. I have been staying here since 2010 and in the last 2 years they have updated the rooms, new mattresses, flat screen tv, small refrigerator in the rooms and a small fitness room. The staff is very nice and helpful.

This place is made me feel dirty just by being in it. Within two minutes of being in my room I stepped on a cockroach. The room was poorly painted and had stained carpet. The sheets on the bed had a rip in it. I refused to stay in this place and left immediately. They charged 70 bucks for that room. Don’t even bother with this place.

This place is your typical affordable hotel. Totally fine for a night or two. Not much of a smell except the first floor smelled faintly of cigarettes. Our room was non-smoking and didn’t smell of smoke. The staff was friendly and helpful! I liked this hotel, and not sure why people have it such bad reviews! It’s fine! The bed was comfy, the sheets are clean, the towels are fine, it’s all good.

The first thing I noticed when I stepped into the place was the smell. It’s not that strong, but it is unpleasant. Turning on the A/C in your room produces another weird smell. The stay was one day less than the original reservation, but I still had to pay for that day. The staff wasn’t rude, just indifferent. On the plus side, it was cheap and the room was clean.

Stayed here on a Sunday night for $ 80. Location is 1 block off I-90, in the woods. Hotel is quiet, as if we were the only ones staying there. Truck stop across the street had noise going on all night though. There’s a Popeye’s over there, for those folks who like chicken. The 24-hr diner at truckstop gives a 10% discount if you show them your Edgewick receipt. No wifi in rooms, but they’ll provide an ethernet cable if you ask. Old square analog TV and a small fridge, but no microwave or coffee machine in room(but there is in the lobby). Free muffins in the morning. Whole place looks freshly painted and clean(too clean… I could smell bleach on my sheets). Very friendly staff. No resort fee. I would stay again, but thought it was a bit pricey for the location.

Could be better. For the internet, they use cable, that did not work for me at all. Paint and clean it up. It could be a SUPER8…

I have stayed here in the past and the place was OK. It looks like they have invested a little money in getting the place cleaned up and looking much nicer. Our room was freshly painted and very clean. Linens were spotless and had a nice fresh smell. The staff was very helpful, and the prices for the room were reasonable for the area. Will definitely stay again.

I had a miserable experience this morning re: the Edgewick Inn. I went to climb Mailbox Peak and was waiting for a friend in the parking lot of the Edgewick. It was 6:15 am and there were many parking spots available and all the best spots near the front are reserved for staff.(Which speaks volumes about how they prioritize). And a woman came out after I was there maybe 2 mins and was incredibly rude to me. I said I’d leave and she continued to be rude. It was amazing.

Not bad at all. If you want to stay in a place that isn’t as expensive as the Salish, but you don’t want to stay in a no-tell-motel, this is your spot. The people that work there are pretty odd, but the room was clean and I checked our sheets and they looked clean. It was certainly nothing fancy and I think it was a little overpriced. There’s a vending machine downstairs with snacks and sodas — always helpful.

We arrived at the Edgewick at 2am after a looong day of traveling and all I wanted to do was get in bed and pass out. I pulled down the covers and discovered sheets covered in hair and brown and yellow stains. I almost cried. Our room obviously hadn’t been cleaned, yet the bed had been made to look like it was. I went downstairs to the receptionist and told her the problem and she went and got me a new set of sheets, no apology. The new set didn’t even look that clean either, but they weren’t covered with short and curlies so I put them on the bed and went to sleep. The rest of the room wasn’t that clean either, which is all I really want from a my lodging. Everything else was average. At least they provided free coffee and there was a good diner with a small arcade across the street. I wouldn’t stay there again.
