Good place to get a sandwich and a cone, is how I would describe this place. Four stars might be high for an ice cream shop, but comparing apples to apples this place is pretty good.
Store is open again with new ownership and they seem very nice. Stopped in for lunch with a friend and it was good. The first thing I noticed is how clean the restaurant is. Thats a good since they don’t have a drive thru. As I understand it there were some permit issues with the city. The owner waited on us and was very pleasant.
I had a crispy chicken sandwich which was good. My buddy had a burger and a dog, he was happy with both. The French fries were outstanding. Thin cut, crispy, and well seasoned. Think the way McDonald’s used to be. All and all a good lunch, I”ll go back.
