History

Established in 2011.

State Farm was founded in 1922 by retired farmer George J. Mecherle as a mutual automobile insurance company owned by its policyholders. The firm originally specialized in auto insurance for farmers. The company later expanded its services into other types of insurance, such as homeowners and life insurance, in addition to banking and financial services.

Our agency opened in North Augusta in 2011 and has been helping our customers manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.

Business Owner

Chad Stalvey is originally from Myrtle Beach, SC. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Financial Services. He started working with State Farm in 2009 and opened an agency in North Augusta, SC in 2011.
