H&R Block

H&R Block’s rates are outrageous. Please consider finding someone you know who is using an online service and doing their taxes on their own, and have them walk you through it. You will save a TON of money and probably time as well.
I’ve gone to this HR Block for two years, and have been dissatisfied each time. I had almost as simple of a return as you can get, and I was there for two hours and charged a ridiculous amount of money. If you were paying for convenience, you still are not getting that.
You would think that their employees were not looking at tax forms all day long based on how difficult a time they seem to have, looking at forms and their computer program as if it’s their first time through. There seems to be one person there who has a clue what they are doing, and if you are sitting with him, expect the other employees to take him away to help them while sitting with you.
Think twice before using any HR Block.
