Food is pretty good. Service however, sucks… how long does it take to make pizza? If you have small kids, don’t bring them to bertucci’s. They’ll be melting down while you’re waiting for a drink refill.

Not busy and food comes out cold. Definitely not cooked fresh. How hard is it to make sure food comes out hot!!!

Ate here with the wife tonight. Server Ryan was nice and in cheerful spirits for the duration of our stay. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and two side salads as a $ 2.99 add on that we’re a little on the small side. The bread that comes complimentary with the purchase of any meal was perfectly fresh and delicious and came with a side of Olive oil. The pizza was a 9 out of 10 and delicious. They have a lack of ample paper products such as napkins at the table and paper towels in the bathroom. The wife also said the bathroom was an arctic 58degrees. Atmosphere was nice and friendly even for a Friday

Been to all the bertuccis in a 20 mile radius and always order the same thing filet for the lady and the rigatoni for me. This location has the best and most consistent filet and rigatoni. They know how to cook a steak here.

One step over Olive Garden. The place is more like a nicer restaurant rather than the cafeteria the OG has become. Although, I’m not a fan of the four workers, standing with apparently nothing better to do in front of the grill staring blank faced as people come through the front door. Waitress was attentive without being obnoxious. The fresh baked and still warm rolls and olive oil was delicious. I could make that my entire(all carb and fat) meal. I had the jambalaya: chicken, sausage and shrimp in a spicy sauce over linguini. Yum. I think I found me a new Bertucci’s fave. They got Ron’s meal wrong. Shrimp rather than the chicken he ordered, but had it fixed in just a couple of minutes. Reasonably priced. We’ll be back.

When this place first opened we visited often, and it was pretty good. We went back recently and it has not aged well. The place is in desperate need of an updating. Since they opened at least 20 places have opened within 10 miles and they have not kept up. I must say the menu has changed somewhat over the years, but it’s still primarily a pizza and pasta menu. We visited at about 4PM and were seated promptly in the bar area. There was only one other table we could see. The staff were mostly seated together at a table for what I assume was staff dinner. Our waiter approached and said he would be right back. When he did return, he took our drink order and then greeted the two women at the table behind us. They were obviously regulars as he spent a great deal of time fussing over them, unfortunately at our expense. We ordered our meals. My entrée was supposed to come with soup or salad. I ordered soup which never came. I can only surmise that our waiter who was a little flighty, was too busy fussing over the two regulars to remember. Our entrees arrived, Chicken Piccatta for me, a shrimp and strawberry salad for my dining companion. My chicken was okay, they could have been a little more generous with the sauce, but the shrimp and strawberry salad was a disappointment, only 4(count ‘em 1, 2, 3, 4) shrimp a small bed of spinach and a few sliced strawberries for $ 12.99, a bit steep but a great profit item for the restaurant. Since our waiter was, by this time, m.i.a. we couldn’t complain. Water glasses remained unfilled until he reappeared to talk to the aforementioned ladies at the next table. A good waiter pays equal attention to ALL his tables, not just regulars. The food was mediocre, the service indifferent and not well trained. I doubt if we’ll be returning, given that there are at least 15 other chain restaurants within a 20 minute drive that do it better.

The customer service and the process and procedures are very good. Even if it’s your very first time the Bertuccis would be felt like home. Foods are creative and comparatively cheaper and tasty.

If you care, and think about it just a little, you’ll figure out that there are five big Italian chains. Of course the granddaddy of them all is the infamous«OG.» This chain is in the middle of the pack for me and this location is just fine. This place is an excellent example of Unilocal’s A-OK rating and that’s a good thing for a chain. * Parking is a snap. * It’s clean. * The staff is competent and friendly. * The service is most often fine with an occasional misstep. * A nice variety of food at competitive prices. * The wine selection is good but their pricing by the glass is a little high. For a serious change try their MEATBALLANDBACON pizza with meatballs, applewood smoked bacon, roasted red potatoes in a spinach cream sauce with mozzarella cheese. A small will set you back $ 10.99. It’s different and darn tasty. These folks are a nice example of a chain that meets expectations.

Had a quick late snack there of antipast and a flatbread, with drinks. Friendly waitress, great service and food. Would definitely recommend.

For a chain Italian restaurant, I absolutely love this place! They have a decent wine selection, and I feel like it is better quality compared to like Olive Garden for example. I would give it 4 stars but sometimes service is a little off and my food had reached the table cold more than once.

The bread and pizzas we got for our boys were great. The ambiance was good, and the little balls of dough they brought for our boys to play with were so fun! Prices very reasonable. The downside? Service, service, service. It took a while to get drinks and order, although the restaurant wasn’t very full. But once we told her we were only ordering food for the kids, the waitress grew pretty dismissive and was gone for long periods of time. She never offered me a refill and I had to attempt to ask 2 times, because she would fly by the table and not hear me ask. Then when I told her it was my sons 3rd birthday and asked if they had a candle in the back for his ice cream, she said she didn’t think so and said that another table had brought their own candles and mumbled something and walked away. I don’t know what the deal was, but she barely had any facial expression and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She brought their ice cream out, but didn’t say anything about his birthday or sing happy birthday. So we sang to him. I really think the experience could’ve been different if we had a different waitress. As a former waitress, I completely understand the disappointment when you realize the check is going to be low and the possibility for a large tip isn’t there, but you can’t treat the patrons differently because of that.

This Bertucci’s is in our regular rotation of Italian restaurants. We find the food to be very good. One favorite of ours is the chicken piccata. Some dishes are less exciting, but there is a reasonable mix and plenty of healthy options. Service is generally friendly, and usually prompt enough, though I do note the infrequent glitch. A new manager at this location makes a point of trying to get around to personally see customers. The kitchen will modify dishes(I don’t care for capers in the chicken piccata, for instance). The dining room is nice enough, though I prefer those at other Italian chains. I must say that I was surprised to see such poor write-ups from other reviewers. Complaints are split between service and the food. Given how often we eat here, I find it hard to believe that we’ve just gotten lucky.

Had a great experience at this Bertucci’s. Our server was very attentive and the food we ordered was wonderful. I loved the Tuscan Roasted Veggies and Baked Polenta with Pomodoro and my husband enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Marsala. My daughter ordered the Grilled Shrimp off the appetizer menu which came with the Baked Polenta with Pomodoro and some pickled red onions — she ate everything but the onions — I tasted them and thought they were good, but didn’t really think they added much to the dish. All in all — a great meal!

We had a nice sized group out at Bertucci’s the other night and it was not as nice as we had hopped. There were six of us, 5 of them had been to other Bertucci’s and I had never been to one before, so I was expecting to have a dinner like they had at other locations– a good one. However… We were all in for a shock tonight. Our waiter was just okay in the beginning, but after what I’m about to mention happened he gave us all some real attitude that deducted from his tip. The worst thing thing that can happen when ordering pizza happened… when you receive it it is cold. After being told our pizza was coming in 15 minutes we waited 45 until it did and it was cold. Obviously we had it sent back and heated up, and after that any thing we asked for didn’t come out for quite a considerable amount of time. And you might think it was because of it being busy, well it wasn’t busy at all. The waiter actually threw the cook under the bus saying he was new and didn’t know how to handle certain things yet. Seriously? Anyway, food was just okay and ill be certain to head to another Bertucci’s to find out what it is really like.

I used to be an intern at a nearby office and one day, my manager took the whole department out for lunch here. My co-workers said this place is usually quiet(one recalled one occurrence where she and her husband were the only customers around). Not the best, yet not the worst Italian food I’ve had. Interning in the suburbs where lunch options are very limited(compared to my colleagues who get to intern in the heart of Philly’s skyscrapers forest/food truck jungle), I don’t really have anything to complain about Bertucci’s.

Three summers ago, my wife and i were displaced to a Hotel, without the ability to cook our meals for an undetermined time; survivors/victims of a fire. That week was our Anniversary Week; Either the Pearl or Bertucci, sometimes both were our choices to go and Celebrate. During our Meal, our Waiter asked if the food and service were fine; we told him after the week we had with Insurance, Restoration, Condo Management Hassles; Feeling: lost, alone, no one cares and all the take out crap we could stand, tonight would be the Highlight of the week, the Highlight of our lives. He could not believe the hassles we had, and the other part of the story, that will not be mentioned, just say it was one of those no good deed goes unpunished stories. He asked if we would like Dessert, we love the Desserts here and said yes. He said he would be right back with the biggest smile we had seen all week. The Manager came to our Table, he told us that our waiter mentioned how he thought he was having a difficult time, until the customers at one of his tables, us, relayed how bad it could really be. Dessert, no, the entire check would be, ONTHEHOUSE. We did not come to Bertucci for a free meal. We told other places the same story; we ate, went on our way. End of story, back to the hotel. This lifted us up and we remained Faithful Customers, but many THINGS could no longer be over looked: from the Greeting at the door, Soup to Nuts; overall, it was not the same. We never thought Olive Garden could replace Bertucci’s after the kindness they showed, but it has. Our Original Rating of 5, is now 2. I am Italian and Know what Italian Cuisine is, and so-so Italian fare. Olive Garden is and will always be so-so. Bertucci’s was Good. The Better Italian on the Golden Mile, NOTANYMORE!!!, Olive Garden is drawing more business, BUT… Avoid those two and give Johnny Piasano’s a try. Their Feast of the Seven Fishes is calling!

Dropped in for a quick bite on a Wednesday night for the first time. Restaurant appeared very clean and orderly. Waitress came out to introduce herself a few minutes after I sat down. Better than average beer selection. The waitress brought a basket of rolls and a plate of spiced olive oil to dip the rolls into. I ordered the rigatone, it was served hot and I thought spiced just right. There was more than I could eat. The check was very reasonable and the waitress was pleasant and attentive. I would say this place was A-OK.

NOTWORTHIT! My boyfriend and I went here one quiet Friday night, too lazy to make anything after a long work week. Big mistake! We ordered one of the«specials,» a chicken pizza with some strange assortment of toppings and raviolis. The raviolis came out cold and when we asked for them to be warmed up our waitress looked upset and annoyed at us. The toppings on the pizza special was an odd assortment of peppers and some other weird vegetables I can’t remember, but I do remember it did NOT go together. To top it all off, fake chicken smothered in barbecue sauce… not a good combo. Do yourself a favor and make a homemade pizza and get some homemade raviolis from a local italian place. It will be cheaper and taste much better. I will never go back to Bertucci’s.

I’ve been here twice now, and I have had excellent food and service on both occasions, and thus, I have no idea why this place is getting such bad reviews. The first time I went here(first time EVER to a Bertucci’s, too), I had baked tortellini; the second time I had a calzoni. Both were delicious! I loved the fact that the waiters kept bringing over the yummy bread rolls. In fact, my perky waitress even gave me a bag so I could take some home and enjoy them the next day. Awesome! By the way, did you know that their take out containers are reusable? That’s pretty classy.
