Audubon Service

I was looking to have my daughters brakes looked at on her car when she was home for fall break from college. I called and scheduled an appt which was very easy. I gave them my name and number as a contact.
My daughter dropped the car off with her mother and left her name and number. I called this morning, since I had not heard anything, and asked how it was going. I was told the car was on the lift and the repairs were being made. I said I never received a call. He stated we talked to your daughter this morning. Exactly what I did not want to happen.
Full rear brake job, not sure why the rotors could not be turned and for some reason they needed to balance all 4 tires at a rate of $ 60.00
Very upset that they did not call me as instructed to discuss the work before they started. Total cost $ 448… Enjoy, I will not be back.

How can I say this. I don’t trust many mechanics. The chain stores are horrendous. You go in with an intention of strictly an oil change, and they will still up sell you to no end. On the other end, the large dealerships will charge you a premium for impersonal service.
In comes the local guys like Rich and his Liberty Service Station. The rest is history. He’s extremely pleasant to engage with especially for a non-​mechanically incline person like myself. He explains the offering, gets you on the schedule at a convenient time, and calls you immediately the day of your service on any bigger issues so you can clearly understand any potential options. He does high quality work and I will never go elsewhere unless the service is covered by a warranty. He solely relies on his returning customers and not the advertisements to get folks through the door. His pricing is extremely reasonable and I trust that when he quotes me, it’s only for things that I absolutely need.
On one occasion, my husband’s car broke down in Malvern, and my husband insisted on getting it towed to Rich. Well, the tow truck company was 3 hours late, but Rich’s lead waited for my husband beyond their normal work hour and not once did they make a fuss about the delay! How about that for support!
Just an all around nice guy and it shows! Go support his business!

I love the Audubon Service Center ( Unilocal has it improperly labeled as a «Mobile,» but it has been Liberty for the last several years.) I’ve been going here for 6 or 7 years and have never been disappointed. They always do a terrific job and they have the best prices around. They used to be really convenient to my work, so it was easy to go. Now my company moved, so getting there is a haul. I tried a few places near my home, but I just don’t have the same level of trust — I’d rather drive the 60 miles round trip for maintenance & repairs because Rich’s team is worth it.
