Redbud Ridge Vineyard & Winery specializes in wines targeted at foods. Our wines are dry dinner wines and semi-​dry dinner wines.

History

Established in 1985.

Began making wine in the 1960s. Worked with dad at Dos Okies Vineyard & Winery in Edmond which was started in 1985. Took over the all tasks in the mid ‘90s. Purchased land and started vineyard in 2002. Received Federal license in 2006. Opened winery tasting room in 2008.

Meet the Business Owner

Tom K.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Oklahoma. Now retired. Started making wine in a college dorm room in the ‘60s. Got serious in the 1980s when his dad started a small non commercial winery in Edmond, Oklahoma. It was called Dos Okies Vineyard & Winery. Took classes in viticulture and enology at Grayson County College in Sherman, Texas. Purchased the property where the vineyard and winery are located in 2002. The grapes were started that year and then expanded in 2004. The winery received initial licensing in 2006. Tom retired in 2007. Redbud Ridge Vineyard & Winery opened on October 24, 2008. This was about the height of the financial crisis.
