History

Established in 1972.

MNTC’s Franklin Road Campus is located at the corner of 12th Avenue NW and Franklin Road, between the communities of Moore and Norman. The campus offers six buildings totaling 323,500 square feet that feature classrooms, labs, industry-​standard equipment, and meeting and conference rooms.

In addition to the main building, MNTC’s campus includes a health education center, an industry training center, carpentry/​woodworking building, and IT building. The campus features include a scenic pond used for water retention, and as a resource for grounds upkeep.

MNTC employs 230 full-​time staff, including 19 part-​time positions, certified teachers, instructors, support personnel, and administrators. Employees have an average tenure of 12 years. Oklahoma’s network of technology centers offers an option for career and technical education that is community-​focused.
