Mooney’s Pub & Grill

Service here is awesome, Bo the normal bar keep that is there when I’m there, is very professional keeps the beer flowing you almost never have to beg for beer, me and the guys from work go here just cause of the beer on tap and the good service we always receive.

The atmosphere isn’t for the faint of heart, but all of the bikers and cowboys definitely know where to find some amazing food. Chicken, catfish, and fries are all amazing.

Took an hour to get food. And food was over cooked. Not recommended!!!

I had a great time here. The band, Stereo Deck played great covers. The drinks were not too expensive and were good. The outside area with the firepit was nice. Good neighborhood bar.

It’s always fun to get away from Campus Corner or from Bricktown and do something different. The first time I was brought to Mooney’s was for karaōke night on Thursdays. It’s a hole in the wall place with a rougher crowd, and I know a lot of bikers like to ride there and hang out, and it’s a pretty cool place. There is a separate room for smoking and pool tables, but in the main room is another pool table, booths to sit in, the bar, and the stage. The last time I went was on a Saturday night, and they had an awesome cover band playing. There is never any cover, and always good beer prices.
I kept getting $ 5 pitchers, and they also have 128 oz. beer towers for $ 15. I tried the catfish platter which was meh. The catfish was under seasoned, the green beans came from a can, and the hush puppies were delicious but also came from a frozen bag. My boyfriend got the $ 8 sirloin steak dinner, which I knew immediately I should have gotten instead. It comes with a salad, corn, loaded baked potato, and a pretty darn good steak for bar food. All the bartenders are friendly and get to know you by name. They also have TVs everywhere if you want to watch you favorite game. Bathrooms are relatively clean, service is expected usual bar service, and Mooney’s is located on the feeder road right off I-​35. Definitely one of my favorite places to go hang out at night.
