Embassy Suites by Hilton Norman Hotel & Conference Center

Amazing! Comfortable bed, nice pillows, cotton sheets soft as silk. Room temp perfect, not humid.
They have a great full bar, picked up a couple shiner bock’s before heading up to bed.
BEST Breakfast!!! Evelyn is the most talented chef!!! I swear she had 10 arms to multitask the way she did and with a beautiful smile!
Will def return here when we are in Norman.

Wonderful hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Many restaurants and amenities nearby. Nice area of Norman.

Dont be fooled by the pool hours. They will change them unexpectedly after you ask the and have trip planned around a morning at the pool with the kids. Very disappointed.

I can only good them three stars. The hotel is 7 — 8 years old and NEEDS new beds, so soft that I checked out early. Even the staff told me that I am not the only one too complain.
The hotel out self is very nice, full bar and they serve lunch, dinner, free cooked to order breakfast, the managers happy hour had lots of choices. There is a coffee bar that servers Starbucks for the rlite snobs of the coffee world.
Indoor pool, hot tub, close to a lot of places to eat, the airport, the university and there is an attached Conference Center.
All in all, replace the beds and my next visit will be a star rating.

I have to give this place five stars. We have been here 2 ½ days and everything is fantastic. Our room was big and comfortable and nice and clean. Breakfast was amazing with made to order omelets and great selection of other items. Complementary appetizers and drinks in bar area for 2 hrs each day. We were surprised with a special treat delivered to our door which was unexpected and delish. The sales team gave my husband special treatment recognizing his company. The front desk staff has been very friendly. The pool is huge and relaxing. This hotel is very large, but very well taken care of and clean. We were taken back by the wonderful amenities and warm friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to the next 3 days of our trip here, it will be a shame to leave. We would Definately come back here.

Really enjoyed this Embassy Suites. We stayed here twice on our way down to Texas and made it a point to stay here on our way back.
Strengths:
1. Great breakfast spread with the signature cook to order omlets and eggs
2. There is a bar at the lobby that is open until 11pm
3. Big screen TV with lounge chairs to relax and enjoy your evening
4. Rooms are nicely appointed and nicely kept
5. Customer service was superb
6. Lots of parking
7. Swimming pool is large and open until midnight
Weaknesses
1. Room service only runs until 11pm, however, the front desk has a number for a local pizza joint that is open late
2. Front desk usually is overwhelmed at night due to catering to conventions and guests, therefore, they may not answer those phone calls you make or be as responsive to your needs
Overall:
Still not a bad hotel and will provide 5-​star review. Nice rooms, nice people, and great food. Will stay here again if given the opportunity.

I stayed here during the ChaserCon conference in January 2016. I love how each room is set up as a suite to allow for privacy. The bed is so comfortable. My suite had a great view of OU’s Max Westheimer Airport!
The rooms also contain a mini kitchen complete with a coffee maker, small refrigerator, and microwave. Very convenient when trying to manage your food budget on a lengthy trip.
The complimentary, hot breakfast buffet was also a much appreciated benefit!
Easy access to I-​35.

Very nice hotel, however housekeeping missed a few areas, i.e. A hair found on the sheets and popcorn crumbs underneath a chair. This was probably due to the NYE crowd. Enjoyed the evening reception and breakfast. All in all, good experience.

I love everything about Embassy Suites. Happy hour with some eats, the conference space, and friendly staff.
I use ES to put up out of town work and family guests. I’ve worked with the events staff on several occasions and they are so efficient.
It is very clean and has options for food, drink, and leisure. It’s close to nice businesses in Norman.
Definitely be downstairs from 5:30 — 7:30!

Nice clean large rooms. Excellent and professional staff. Pet Friendly. In house dining options. Large conference rooms. Accessible to shopping and dining.

This hotel was awesome but huge.
Obviously a newer hotel in the Embassy Suites family. The rooms were huge and clean, the breakfast area was well stocked until it closed.
There was a conference going on when we were there but other than maybe waiting an extra minute for the elevator there was no chaos around the hotel.
Definitely our go to hotel when we are in the Norman, South Oklahoma City areas.
Staff was friendly, we were on the Hilton Honors floor and had additional amenities in our room and on the floor that the kids loved.

The cleanest, kindest, most efficient Embassy Suites I’ve ever been to. We were snowed in there and it was a pleasant place to be snowed into. Breakfast area was clean, full and efficiently run. The bar in the evening was also friendly and such a nice area to just sit back and relax in. Other Embassy Suites should take notes from head to toe on this one !!!

Nice property, 4 – 6 years old. Welcoming staff greets you. Typical layout, large property, parking and 10 stories tall. Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Free Internet. Bar in lobby, and regular breakfast bar in morning. Good food, fresh and well staffed. Good nights stay for the price!

Problem solved I think. On the fifth call I talked to Brad who said he is mailing my clothes. If I get them I will be happy. First Review: i must preface this by saying that I have NEVER retrieved a left item from ANY hotel, EVER. However, I have also rarely been treated so rudely by staff when I ask to hear is my things are in lost and found. My stay was adequate, room cleaned well, staff ok, not enough of them. There are NO carts available if you arrive at check in time. I, like an idiot, which I admitted kindly and graciously to now THREE different front desk people, left a drawer full ($$$) of my FAVORITE clothes in a drawer in this hotel. I have inquired now FOUR times and cannot receive a call back from ANYONE. Seriously? So, no more Embasy Suites for me and BTW I have never written up any hotel EVER. Grrr.

Been living here for ermmm almost 2 months now.
I love the pool and the gym here.
The location of this hotel is great too, next to many shops that I can walk to.
The staff are very nice and friendly.
They take pets here and they have smoking rooms as well.
Ohh and the most important thing is they have a great big bath tub !! I take baths so that’s very very important! :)

I am only giving this 3 stars bc we only stayed one night and it was just staying in the room. The facility overall was very nice minus the trash on the lawn… Noticed it when we got here and was still there when we left. The room was nice and clean minus the questionable blood colored stain on the drapes that could have been ketchup or jam that hasn’t been clean… Ac worked and the beds were comfy. Check in on Saturday only had one person checking in but we were only two people deep and took maybe 10 minutes to get to us.
My only funny was the shower curtain was put on backwards and it can down when the wife was there. Not the whole curtain, the snap on part they change out.
We’d stay here again as we have definitely seen worse. I’d probably give it a 4 if we stayed more than one night.

If for any reason you have to come to Norman or OKC and need a place to stay… choose this place!
We arrived very late because of some bad weather that slowed our road trip.
1) Staff: I wasn’t expecting such a friendly and helpful late night staff. Cheyenne checked us in and got us the toothbrushes we forgot to pack. She was funny and informative and professional.
2) Hotel lobby: I never thought of such a beautiful lobby area in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. The bar looked great but it closed at 11. However the open glass elevators always make me happy at a hotel and they had lovely sitting areas around the huge inner atrium lobby.
3) Breakfast Buffet: I had no idea a free breakfast buffet at any hotel could be this fresh and well set out right up until the minute they took it down. My wife has a habit of sleeping late and often misses the buffet but this morning we had to hit the road early. Or we arrive at the very last minute and there are scraps of eggs and no bacon and you have to scrape the last of the oatmeal out of the vat and the coffee is gone… but not here. The whole thing was fully stocked and tended to until it ended.
She loved the eggs, bacon, potatoes, juices, sodas, fruit variety and I thought the oatmeal was as good as any restaurant oatmeal I’d ever had… with brown sugar and golden raisins! The TV was on CNN (Yeah! No Fox channel!) and the waffle, pancake, omelette bar was a breeze and had lots of ingredients. I would eat here everyday if I could.
4) Room: Wow! Nice seating area with a TV and a sofa bed. The layout of the living area adjacent to the hall was a nice noise buffer for the bedroom in the back. The bathroom door did not open into the bedroom. So even when one of us got up and turned on that light it didn’t light up the bedroom. I wish the tub was wider but my wife LOVED the shower head and water pressure.
The king sized bed was just about the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Ever! The room was clean and comfy. Lots of room to open up the HUGE suitcase my wife uses when we travel.
I have read some reviews that the bedding was rough. But I didn’t notice. I did notice the TV guide on their cable was awful. But we didn’t come to watch TV. I did want to locate local weather before we set out and had to use my smart phone for that.
I didn’t use their free Wi-​Fi because we got in late and I didn’t have time to sit and surf.
5) No valet parking but you can pull up to unload with no problem. Cheyenne told us they had a wonderful Manager’s Reception with free booze which we unfortunately missed.
We will stay here whenever we travel back into Oklahoma. And when I see ES anywhere from now on I will try to stay there. I need to get on their Hilton Honors program pronto!

This place was by far the best looking place I saw for miles around. They also did some things that I really dug. #1, the shower head was up high. As a tall person one of the worst things about travel is a shower head pointed at my belly button, it’s nice to shower without have to crouch down. The rooms are modern, well equipped and large. I might have been most impressed with the TV’s. All hotels have high def TV’s, but the only channels in high def are the pay per view ones. This place had a host of HD choices, making the room that much more comfortable. Did I also say that the price for the room was reasonable. The front desk was also cheerful and friendly
Now if you are like me, you would think that this would be a 5 star and not a 3 star review. So let’s talk about the café. I came down for the complimentary happy hours both nights of my stay and that must have been late, so we left and moved on. On my final day I came down for breakfast and several of us were sitting in the dark, about 15 minutes after they were scheduled to open, one of the girls told another employee that the food wasn’t ready. About 20minutes late, they turned on the lights and the 20 people approached the counter only to find that items were missing from the buffet and no cook was there for made to order items.
Freestanding restaurants can do this, but hotels should know that every minute counts and needing to get to the airport, I had to forfeit my meal. I thought about alerting management, but if they didn’t know what was going on or take the bold step to come to the café and announce what was going on, no doubt that my concern would have fallen on def ears.
This place was on point to being a 5 star property until I had multiple bad encounters at the onsite café.

If this place is a 4 star, what would be a 5 star in this price point? The place is beautiful, and the rooms are huge. The free breakfast is the best ive had, and they have free cocktail happy hour!

We were supposed to stay here an entire weekend but after one night we decided to go home a day early from a wedding weekend. The hotel is nice and I guess my expectations were too high because the staff was a severe disappointment.
Mostly the bartenders who were too busy talking amongst themselves to take more than one drink order at a time from several people at the bar. I began to wonder if this is what they were told to do to maybe cut back on their costs during the so-​called «managers special» happy hour from 5:30 — 7:30p; they are supposed to give you free drinks, but they serve you so slow and rudely that it’s not even worth the one free glass of terrible wine or beer. It was so bad that people were beginning to talk so loudly about how bad the service was so that the bartenders could hear them! But too bad they didn’t act liked they cared because they just kept laughing and carrying on.
As far as the room and cleanliness, I was impressed. I will stay here again but will not visit the bar!
