History

Established in 2012.

Though Polygraph and Assessment Services was just recently founded in the Hampton Roads Area in 2012, the examiners have a full history of working with many different agencies and professions while offering polygraph services. We seek to meet the needs of the client and have always and will always operate under the most ethical and best practice standards as set forth by the American Polygraph Association and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Nathan P.

Business Owner

After spending many years as a mental health clinician with at-​risk jouveniles, convicted felons, convicted sex offenders, and as a polygraph exmainer, President of the company and lead examiner, Nathan Perkins, recently helped found Polygraph and Assessment Services in 2012 in the Hampton Roads area. Throughout his career, he has conducted polygraphs for the Washington DC Police Department, Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, Center for Psychological Assessment and Therapeutics, Eastern State Hospital, and other state and private agencies and he has experience conducting many different types of examinations. In addition, he has assisted in teaching Post-​Conviction Sex Offender Testing with the Virginia School of Polygraph.
