J & M Tire & Alignment

Spent most of a Sunday trying to find a shop to repair a tire. Called numerous places and was told I would «just have to come in and wait. Maybe have you out in three hours.» Checked Unilocal and found J&M highly rated and not too far. I drove over and was directed right in. Took maybe 20 minutes total. Nice folks. I highly recommend.

I was literally serviced in 10 minutes!!! Driving up I was directed to pull into a garage, told them what was up with my tire (kept getting flat) and they helped diagnose and fix it!
Chris was the young cat who helped me out. This place provided me with exceptional service and if I ever have another tire issue I’m coming back to j&m!

Love this place! I went there about 4 times to get used tires. Prices are reasonable. The place isn’t a palace but a well-​oiled machine. The workers look like bums but they are effective! They will not try to rip you off. They want you to have tires and get you going, that’s it. One time they didn’t have the tire size I needed but they called another J&M branch and had it quickly delivered. I will keep going to this place.

I came in for a used tire the other day around 2pm. I was waived onto the garage without having to park first and and then walk in. They were very slow but the garage area seemed well staffed. I said i need one of those guys, pointing at my left rear. My car waa up and getting worked on in seconds. After about 5 min it was done and i was in the office paying the bill.
$ 30 for the tire and it was in great condition with lots of tread left.
I’ll be back on payday for another tire.

This place gives the greatest customer service!
I went knowing I needed either one or two tires to pass inspection. I figured, OF COURSE they are going to tell me 2.
I drive up and although they were very busy, I was greeted immediately! I told the tech my situation and he took a look at the tires. He said you only need one tire, the other one will pass inspection but you should think about replacing it when you can. I was happy… but it doesn’t end there. I saw them interacting with other cutomers and going above and beyond the call of duty. While I was waiting (which wasn’t long AT ALL) I spoke with who I think was the owner. He was VERY nice and helpful. He gave me a quote for 2 new tires and even ordered them for me to be there by my next payday! I would recommend ANYONE to this establishment. I will be back to get my new tires for an excellent price and excellent customer service.
Oh, and my «used» tire that I got looked almost brand new!!!

Left ODU with a tire that kept deflating, went to J&M – 30 minutes later I have a nearly new/​used tire. James helped me out and hooked me up. Great service, great buy.

5-​star service! They were able to get me in and out within the hour. I was fully prepared to replace my tire, but they were able to repair the leak, even though he had to scrub out the fix-​a-​flat I had in there. This place is definitely ran with a sense of integrity and you can see that in their service. I will be making this place my first choice for tire service!

I had a bad front tire my friend said try j and m it’s a tiny place but they were able to put a lightly used tire for $ 50 on my 08 ford escape

This place is ideal for the saying: «don’t judge a book by its cover». The facility is located in a rather busy section of Norfolk and can be easy to miss. However, the important thing to note is that the customer service and pricing here are exceptionally hard to beat.
I came here on a whim after hitting a pothole and was wondering what was going on with my tire. After pulling in with a flat tire, one of the people in the garage bays was quick to ask me what I needed. Showing him the tire, he inspected it and then called his manager, John to come out and take a look at it. They made a decision to repair the tire but John suggested that for safety reasons, I get a replacement tire (I drove on the tire a bit while it was really flat). Hesitant, I asked how much a used tire would be. The price he gave was unbelievable. He gave me the choice to do either. It was really nice to have a place be honest and give you an option and try not to force you into a sale.
Considering how genuine and respectful they were, I went ahead and got the tire. If you’re looking for fantastic customer service at great prices, give this place a try — you won’t be disappointed.

Had what I believed was a leak in my driver side tire. Went to get it check and fix on a Thursday afternoon and it was packed but got in there within 10 minutes and out in about 30. They told me everything that was wrong and why I had the leak and it only cost me $ 20.
