Great Scott Tree Service did an awesome job taking several trees down and cutting back limbs coming into my yard from a neighboring yard. Scott and Vincent kept me informed every step of the way. They even took care of other issues that popped up that were not part of the original quote. I highly recommend them.

Scott and his team are absolutely awesome!!! I had two bigger berry trees in my front yard in which the birds and the berries would reek havoc on our house, driveway and cars. He came by gave a great estimate and then came three days later!!! He even threw in a trim on a larger gum ball tree that was growing a bit much over our house. Took them about 3 – 4 hours to demolish and clean up everything. His guys were professional, efficient and friendly. I’ve already contacted him to remove some limbs that fell in a storm and I’ll most definitely be contacting him again to remove one of my huge gym all trees. Don’t go with anyone else but Great Scott!!!

Very happy with Scott and his team. We bought a home in the fall of 2013 with 2 *huge* sycamore trees. They’ve gotten overgrown with limbs hanging over the house, into the street, etc. Scott came out and gave us a quote on Friday, and came back the very next Tuesday morning to do the job. His price was absolutely fair and he was so courteous — he offered to lock the gate up behind him while we were at work and even chose not to use the bucket truck because «it would damage our nice lawn» (his words!) And we swear they left the yard *cleaner* than they found it! Overall we are very pleased and would absolutely recommend him and his team.

Great work with a quick time frame. Negotiated a fair price and had two major trees limbed up and deadwooded. Offered to deadwood a third, smaller tree free of charge. Very happy with the results and would recommend this company.

Scott gave me a fair bid on removal/​hauling of 2 trees and stump grinding on a Monday and came to do the job that Thursday/​Friday. His crew took the extra time and care in removing the 95′ tree that sat on my property line between houses. When his crew was finished with the job, they raked my mulch into piles and cleaned the entire area. Scott was not the lowest price of my quotes, nor the highest.
I chose him because:
A– he is a Hampton Roads local.
B– he came highly recommended by one of my clients and another local contractor.
I was thoroughly pleased with the services he provided. Highly recommend.

We shopped around and received 5 quotes from services in the area and Great Scott matched the best one. Very prompt; were able to fit us in same weekend to remove 6 trees and multiple stumps. They also chased down some shallow roots in our yard and ground them up AND pulled out some old bushed and fencing whiel they were there. Full crew showed up and got down to business. When they were done they hauled away all debris and cleaned up the work area before they left.
One of the trees they took down was overhanging our garage and we don’t have so much as a dented shingle from anything falling.
Being new in the area finding quality services can always be a bit of a gamble but we couldn’t be happier with our choice this time.

No, this isn’t food, but I think when someone is good, the word needs to be spread. These guys were really interesting and good at what they do. I had a tree that had been methodically falling apart and taking bits and pieces of my backyard, and fencing with it every storm that rolled by. Great Scott had quoted me some time previously and I had it on a card. He honored his price (which was outstanding) and was there when promised and done quickly. He brought a full crew of workers and these guy knew what they were doing. They operated in my backyard, which is tight to say the least, and they knew how to utilize the ropes, saws, and manpower to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They had one snafu, but fixed it without any questions at all, they were cleaned up and loaded all in one day, and gone. I would definitely recommend these folks for any of your land clearing needs, you won’t regret it.
