Since 1989, Spectrum has set the entertainment standard for private events in the Southeast. Featuring our Elite Disc Jockey profile, Spectrum has maintained Atlanta’s largest Disc Jockey roster and has vast experience at most professional venues around town. Also providing Live Musicians from Ceremony Soloists to Variety Bands, we facilitate the booking process by speeding up the discovery of available talent with particular pricing, as well as performance rider negotiations and support.

In 1991, our Award Winning Videography Department was launched to add another layer of service to our existing network with a variety of budget friendly video packages.

In 2008, Spectrum changed its name to Spectrum Entertainment & Events to support our Audio/​Visual and Lighting Departments. From Podiums and Up-​lighting to Full Service Audio, Video and Lighting Productions, our AV Consultants and Techs are friendly, knowledgeable and ready to put your vision to technical work.

History

Established in 1989.

The company was originally called Spectrum Entertainment Concepts, Inc. located in Tucker, GA and owned and operated by Preston MacIntyre. In Sept. 2003, Matt Osborne and Chris Dollar, 2 employees of the company bought the assets of the Entertainment Division from Mr. MacIntryre and formed a new company named SEHC, LLC dba Spectrum Entertainment. Since then, with the additions of a Videography Department, Lighting Department, and Floral & Décor Department, the company is currrently branding its corporate image as SE Events (Spectrum Entertainment & Events).

Business Owner

Matt Osborne, Partner & Director of Operations, first joined the Spectrum team in 1997 as an Account Manager and took less than 5 years to buy the company. He currently manages Spectrum’s top producing wedding referral accounts, oversees day to day operations and continues to DJ every weekend. He is an Atlanta native who has performed on stage since 1988 as a musician and DJ, and has over 3,500 events under his belt as a DJ with thousands more as an event producer. He has DJ’d personal staff weddings for such venues as, The Fox Theatre, Hamilton Mill, Primrose Cottage, Bona Allen Mansion, Flint Hill Plantation, Little Gardens, Windermere Golf Club, Country Club of the South, Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, Wolf Mountain Vineyards, Dunwoody Country Club, Anthony’s Restaurant, and Marietta Conference Center.
