FIRST OF ALL — There was a dude who literally snapped his ankle while running through one of the courses! Poor guy was screaming and hollering while the idiotic staff is just watching from the sidelines recording the situation. Took them over 15 minutes to bring over a wheelchair…(still no call made for paramedics). No wonder they ask for you to sign a waiver. Their staff does not give a shit if your arm is falling off. Half their shit is broken (this includes the ninja course and half their bowling lanes). The ninja course SMELLS like shit. Staff members are clueless on what their job entails. 1 star for the LIVE band. Overall, this place has no organization and quickly falling apart. Not returning to this dump.
***Update*** Even their pool tables are broken! Just run as far away from this establishment as possible.

They gotta improve a little here. Its a new spot, but Main Event in my opinion is more inviting and fun. Sling shot is expensive and takes for ever to ride the cars when we came. They have a bowling alley, bar, serve food, and also ninja course. I am not interested in the ninja course, so I cant speak on that. but there isnt much to do here but spend alot of money.

I like the fact that this place is new and close to where I live. I have been there about three times now the first time I went with a friend and we ate and we did the race cars! The second time I went with my son and his sports team and they had a blast! The boys had a party host who helped them enjoy all of the attractions – they were able to enjoy the ninja area, play area, the race cars and have a private party!
The third time I went was for a play date and the kids played for hours and my girlfriend and I were able to sit and chat and talk and it was great. We did have lunch as well. Here’s some things that I would say are my concerns about this place:
The restaurant food is not that great and the prices are too high for the quality of the food. The service can be improved as well as the staff they have.
The first time we went, they had to close the kitchen at 9 o’clock at night because They didn’t have enough staff or resources to prepare food. That was not the business. There was an hour or more wait for food orders.
I would given them a four star score but that was the one thing that had me on the fence about giving them a three.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service and set-​up of the establishment. Arrived here today (Friday, April 8, 2016) at 7pm with my son and a friend to race carts for his 13^th birthday. Finally got to the counter to speak to a cashier at 8pm after waiting to complete waivers and waiting in line again to get to the cashier, we were informed that there were no more Jr races available for the day as they were first come first serve. Carting was the only reason my son wanted to come to here for his birthday.
There was no signage anywhere to inform customers before waiting that there were no more races available for the day. Can’t believe we waisted an hour to find out that my son couldn’t do what he wanted to do for his birthday. We will just make sure to go to K-​1 in the future instead of returning.

Dude. I am a fan.
As an exercise-​loving but no-​longer-​very-​fit fan of American Ninja Warrior, when I saw a Groupon for this place it was a no-​brainer. I snapped up a deal for ninja obstacle course time and a go kart race for both myself and the boyfriend, and it was money very well spent!
We arrived pretty late on a Thurs night and had to wait quite a while to get checked in. The front desk area seemed to be really understaffed, which was kind of annoying.
But once we got in, we got real excited real fast just walking around the facility! Seems like there is a little bit of everything for everyone, from the aspiring ninjas such as ourselves, to tinier aspiring ninjas (read: children), to bowlers, to speed demons, and to adults who just want to grab a drink amidst all the commotion. They have a party room, too! Everything looks super new and they seem to be building out more areas as well.
The ninja course was just as awesome as we hoped. Obviously the obstacles are not the same in rigor, height, and overall difficulty as those on the American ninja warrior show, but I do feel they capture the spirit of those challenges and are well adapted to casual dabblers. I recognized almost all of the ones in the gym as having some inspiration from obstacles I had seen on TV.
And the beauty is that it’s a pretty low pressure environment – while you may well fail your first, second, or third go around on a given obstacle, honestly, half the fun IS wiping out. There is plenty of padding where needed and I felt quite safe attempting everything (and usually falling, let’s be real) on the course. And you can move around as you like – no need to force yourself to do anything you don’t want to do. It really does feel like a challenging adult-​sized playground, which is awesome.
The go karts were also really fun. I don’t go karting very often, but I thought this course seemed, well, really well-​designed for FUN. There were some straightaways where you could really accelerate, but also some fun tight turns.
Would totally come back again.

I decided to hold my 40^th birthday party here after my girlfriend told be about this place. I’m glad I did.
The Event coordinator Kayla Novak. Worked with me to put together the right party package within my budget was was totally flexible as far as the arrangements were concerned. They set us up in the private balcony above the race track. If you can I recommend reserving that spot. The layout is nice and perfect for parties or events.
The food was good. The barbecue wings were especially delicious.
The star however (besides the racing, bowling and ninja course) was our hostess Tish. She was phenomenal. She catered to our every need and was quick and responsive to address any concerns or issues we had during the course of the party. She even played bouncer kicking out people who tried to crash our party and steal food (really? who does that?). Not to mention she has a pleasant personality.
I would definitely recommend this place for parties or corporate events.

I have organized a few corporate events here where we had bowling, go carts, food and drinks. The whole process is made very easy and professional by the entire team. In my job I attend a lot of these type events and Slingshot has the best setup
A special shout out to 2 employees that really stand out… Nahalia Thomas sets everything up, makes sure it runs smooth and quickly adapts to any changes, planed or last minute. Taylor Davis does an amazing job of coordinating everything during the event making sure the experience is care free.

This place was awesome. I walked in a boy and walked out a ninja. After watching enough Arrow I have always wanted to test my skills out on the salmon ladder. This facility has it! If you’re a fan of American Ninja Warrior, definitely come check it out.

I really enjoyed this place. Buy a Groupon if you can. Our Groupon was $ 75 for 4 people and included one race, a game of bowling and an hour on the obstacle course. Pretty good deal considering just a race alone is $ 22.
So, their indoor race track is pretty cool. The go-​karts are actually electrical, which I had never seen before. We were given head socks to wear first, then we were told to pick out a helmet (helmets look different by the size, but all size S helmets look the same, size M helmets look the same, etc.) Helmets were organized well. There were also mini-​lockers for your things. Ladies — if you have long hair, they will ask you to tie it up. After we «suited up» we were assigned our cars. Gas and brake pedals were where you expected them to be. Seats were adjustable, forwards and backwards but not by much. We basically had 10 minutes to race and do as many laps as we could. I drive like a grandma, so I got 13 – 14 laps in, but the guys in our group got about 17 laps in. I would say the track is not that tricky to maneuver, maybe a couple of sharp curves but nothing you can’t manage. Spectators can watch through the clear plastic window along one side of the track. There were guys monitoring at several spots along the track. One thing is, they were waving flags but we didn’t really know what they meant. They probably should have gone over it at the beginning of the race. I mean, you could make an educated guess — there was a blue flag with a yellow X that I assume meant, SLOW DOWN. And they did come out to wave us down when we had to wrap things up. But yeah.
After we were done, we were handed print-​outs of how everyone did, by the lap and overall. Pretty cool to see if you are competitive.
We headed to the obstacle course next. We were given a colored wristband to determine our time in the course (they would call out «Orange bands need to come out!») They provided a cubby area for your things if you needed it. The course was a great representation of the American Ninja Warrior courses I see on TV. I do not have any upper body strength, NOR height, so I could not do a lot of the obstacles, but my brother-​in-​law LOVED it. He basically should be on ANW, he was awesome at everything. I noticed a couple of obstacles were out of order, which was unfortunate. There was a cool area where you could jump, flip, rope swing off onto a giant inflated cushion. They even had a mini-​course for the little ones. I could see this being a great way to get your kids to burn off any excess energy.
We didn’t end up bowling, so I can’t speak for that. They have a restaurant and a bar area, plus individual party/​meeting rooms.
It was really cool to see the old BJ’s discount warehouse space turned into this giant entertainment arena.
Get there as soon as it opens, it gets very crowded very quickly.

This is basically an adult playground for those who are kids at heart. Looking for something different to do? Come here! Opened late into the night, slingshot has go cart, bowling, and an American ninja warrior course. The downside is that during the weekends, there are tons of kids. The upside is that since they are open late, the adults can stay out to play longer. Plus they have a full bar! Of course they have rule about drinking and go carting.
The American ninja warrior course is tough… like really tough. Go in workout clothes cuz it is a workout. They also have tiny tiny lockers for your keys and wallet and cubbies for bags. I wore sweats with zippers so I could carry my phone around and take pictures.
The downside to this place is that it’s kind of pricey. Over 20 bucks for go cart and 14 bucks for one hour of america ninja warrior. But I know Monday nights, it’s 10 bucks an hour.
Overall, it is a guaranteed fun time, especially at the American ninja warrior course.

This place is loads of fun for small and large groups. The main draw for my group was the Ninja Warrior course, which is a lot harder than it looks on TV. On a busy night, you might have to wait a few minutes for people to finish the stage in front of you, but there’s enough stages to where it shouldn’t be a big issue.
There’s also a Groupon deal for the course as well as the Go-​Kart race.

We checked out SlingShot this weekend and I was amazed at how HUGE it is! What a tremendous facility! It’s easy to see why it’s the largest indoor entertainment venue in Georgia!
We grabbed some lunch and tried several different appetizers (combo platter of cheese stix, jalepeno poppers, and chicken tenders), some fried pickles (they were delicious), and the loaded tater tots. My boys shared the hotdog kids meal and loved it.
We loved the bowling (kinda pricey– be warned) and loved that you can sign into Facebook through the machine and it’ll post to your FB wall so friends and family can see the game unfold. The bowling was the favorite part for my boys (aged 2 and 5).
There’s a racetrack but we were not able to race on Saturday because there were multiple birthday parties taking up time, and my son isn’t six yet (must be six to race). It was fun to watch though!
There’s an adult ninja course that’s unreal. It looks like what you see on the Great American Ninja Challenge. The junior ninja course is awesome too, but scaled down for the little guys (and gals). Along with the junior course, you get entrance to the play arena and that’s a huge obstacle course of ropes and slides. My kids loved it!
Overall, we loved our day at SlingShot. I think they’ll need to provide coupons or Groupons in order to stay in business, as their prices were a little on the high side. However, if you’ve got extra money to spend, or money isn’t an option, this is a fantastic place to take the family for a day of fun!

Visited here on Saturday night and was a little underwhelmed.
I like the concept of the place though.
Besides eating and watching tv there are basically three things you can do here: go cart, bowling, obstacle course.
Go carts don’t seem like a good deal to me though the price is on par with other places like andretti. It’s about $ 25 for like 5 or 8 mins.
Bowling is $ 35 per lane plus shoe rental. There are other places you can bowl for less money.
The obstacle course is really the only unique feature and actually seems like a good deal, it’s about $ 14.
After my self guided tour of the place I ended up leaving and going to Dave and busters (about 10 mins away) to eat and play games (I didn’t really want to go cart because it’s a short ride for price and I wasn’t dressed appropriately to do the obstacle course). The environment at slingshot seemed a little younger and it wasn’t as lively as I was looking for, so Dave and busters suited me better.
But if you’re looking to do both go cart and bowl all at one location this place is probably ok.

This place is huge! On my visit, I only had a chance to go to the Ninja Course for 1 hour. The go-​cart track looked like fun, but the prices were steep. We had originally purchased a Group-​on for the Ninja course and one race, but we visited on a Saturday and didn’t notice the Saturday-​Sunday restriction on the deal (bummer).
The ninja course fun! I’d recommend going on an off day if possible to avoid the crowds. You only get one hour and sometimes you have to wait a while for your turn on the more popular obstacles. The Ninja course area is split into 3 sections: on the ground level you have the beginner and intermediate obstacles and the upper level is where you can find the advanced courses.
Leave your large bags/​purses at home or in the car. The lockers they provide are really small and can only fit small items like phones or wallets. They do have larger cubbies for bigger items, but those sit out in the open and I personally didn’t feel safe using them.

I bought a Groupon for the fun pack for two — 1 hour of ninja course and 1 go kart race for 2. It ended up being $ 20, since Groupon refunds you when other friends buy through a link they provide after your purchase. I’m not sure I would pay more than $ 20 for two people anyways, but it was a good deal to try Slingshot at least once!
Slingshot is located off Peachtree Industrial and Jimmy Carter, across from the RaceTrac gas station. It used to be a BJ’s wholesale store that was sitting deserted in that corner for quite a while. Fun fact — they filmed «The Watch» in that space (they turned it into a fake Costco).
The ninja course was similar to that in the «American Ninja Warrior» show. Basically, you will fail all courses if you dont have:
1. Balance
2. Upper body strength
3. Vertical
4. Lower body strength
The course is definitely skewed towards the more athletic type, but it’s fun to try anyways. Likely, you will fail miserably either way. A friend of mine also ripped open his calluses on his hands, so be careful! There are a few courses where the point is just to jump.
The go-​kart race was under 10 minutes long and you get an educational course beforehand. It’s not a very big course. My car was broken — the seat went backwards halfway through the race and I was struggling to reach the gas pedal the whole rest of the way. Gee, thanks. Also, my car wouldn’t go very fast. Apparently the staff slow your car when someone has hit you or you have hit someone. Very not fun.
Go-​kart racing was a huge disappointment in my opinion.
Good place to visit once, maybe, and with a Groupon. Otherwise the prices, especially for the lackluster go-​kart race, are ridiculous.

The bowling here is a little overpriced. The screens are new and have cute animations of a picture of your face. The go-​karts are ok. They are about the same as Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The wait for the race was about a hour long on a Friday night and it lasted maybe 10 minutes. The bowling alley had no wait.
What I like about this place is the ninja course. It’s definitely a challenge. You need a lot of upper body strength. The Groupon for one hour ninja course and one race is for $ 16 is a pretty good deal.
I know I could conquer that ramp wall. I saved that for last so I was too tired by then. I touched it but it’s not enough. I only finished maybe 7 out of the ~24 obstacles.

Would I come here again?
Yes. The obstacle course is awesome and a fun way to push yourself.

Quick tip — Groupon still has a deal on this place, BUT it’s only only valid Mon-​Fri. If you buy it on the site vs the mobile app, you can opt to share the link for your purchase and if four friends purchase the groupon through it, you’ll knock off an additional $ 4 I believe.
I’ll try to break down each section on it’s own if possible.
[Restaurant] — including bar and birthday private rooms.
tip — It’s self seating and eventually a server will spot you. The «hostess» looking station is actually just to be on the waitlist for bowling.
Service — Maybe they are still working on the kinks or the kitchen isn’t operating at a optimum level. But food can take quite a bit to arrive. Also, just due to how you can seat anywhere, the available servers might be spread a little too thin. I feel they can improve on this. If you just want a beer, it’s better to just get it directly at the bar.
[Food] — Selection is a lot less than D&B. From the limited options we tried the following:
Hotlanta wings — I guess dyslexia wins again. I interpreted that a «mix» of spicy wings and lemon pepper would be both combinations of wings on a plate. But it’s just the wings covered in both sauces. It’s ok, but not that many pieces I feel. Skip on this unless there’s nothing else on the menu that sounds appeasing.
Nachos w/​Chicken — Definitely shareable. But the chips get soggy pretty easily or was already ready and kind of sat in the kitchen a bit. We kind of just took stabs at it with forks. Chicken was dry. Though the guacamole and sour cream were pretty generous portions. If ordering again, I’d just skip the chicken. It’s ok.
Georgia Burger — I should have stated to have mine cooked medium and let resting cook it a little further. But it came out a little past well done. The pimento cheese was pretty mellow. The bbq pulled pork was also ok. I’ve been spoiled by Bocado and H&F I guess. It’s an ok burger if you just want something to munch on, just don’t expect to wow your taste buds.
Obstacle course —
Tip — if you are just tagging along with a group and not really there to run it, you can ask the front counter for a stamp or white wrist band as a spectator. Anyone doing photo ops can use this as a media pass.
Labeled as a jr ninja warrior course. Some obstacles did seem familiar that are on the show. Difficulty depends on various factors. If you want to take it easy, there’s a balance beam of sorts. I believe the hardest ones were the curved ramp wall, the zip line to «pumpkin» and probably the vertical pole ladder thing.
All in all, I think it’s pretty fun, but not really worth it without the groupon.
Go Karts — indoor, electrical type.
There’s a kid’s track and an adult course. Since coming with my teenager cousin, 13, he could only ride on the kids course. Let’s say if you’re 5’10, the seats aren’t that comfy for the kids karts. I also felt, they didn’t want us to make any passes as we clearly found a racing line to cut a head non-​experienced go karters /​racers. As if they claim they could control each kart remotely. It felt they throttled my cousins and I when we were gaining on the lead kart but couldn’t pass.
My experience from racing includes track time at SCCA and a bit of runs on Blood Mountain and Tail of the Dragon.
Summary — Grab a bite to eat somewhere else, then use the groupon for the obstacle course and go karts. This is geared towards more family fun, vs just adults later in the nights.

This review is all about the ninja course. It’s $ 14/​hour for per adult, $ 24 for 2 hours/​adult. Prices for kid admission is different and you can probably find it on their website.
The boyfriend and I are big fans of American Ninja Warrior so when we heard that Slingshot Entertainment had a ninja course we knew we had to check it out. Since we weren’t feeling Halloween, we figured we’d go where the crowds aren’t: a ninja course. I think we chose wisely going on a Saturday afternoon. There was one birthday party going on, but it wasn’t so crowded to be a frustrating clusterf*ck, mostly because they do limit the number of people who can enter the course per time frame.
I’m told the course was designed/​contracted by someone who actually competed on ANW for 4 years, and the course does progress like Stage 1, Stage 2 and they do have the infamous Warped Wall and Salmon Ladder. Nearly all the courses are supported with an airbag so if you fall, you’ll fall into a big soft cushion. In addition, they do have employees monitoring the courses for safety and if you need help. They’re not the happiest-​looking employees, but there’s one or two that are enthusiastic. Everything is designed pretty well done in that all possible courses are there, maybe a little squished in altogether, and everyone wants to do the Warped Wall, so you do get to watch.
My only complaints are:
1) Kids running rampant through the course, cutting in line. No reflection on Slingshot here, but it can get annoying.
2) Not many of the mini lockers actually function.
3) Some of the airbags are really close to the start of the course, and some of of the courses have a low ceiling. I don’t know how tall people do this course.
4) Wear and tear of equipment. It’s not really a complaint, but the bar for the Salmon Ladder was definitely bent from use. I hope they maintain the course well.
Props for the following:
1) Having employees monitor the course
2) Having a first aid kit available, like bandaids for blisters
3) Great use of the space including tiny lockers and cubby shelves for storage.
Tips:
1) Sign the waiver at home before you go and confirm the email, to ensure quicker admission.
2) Wear clothes you can run/​jump best in. Maybe something with a zipper pocket so you can keep your phone in there for taking photos.
3) Keep your belongings to a minimum when you enter, i.e. leave the big jackets and purses in your car if you can.
The courses can be challenging or just a humbling experience that you still have a ways to go before auditioning for ANW.

Be ready to sweat, cry, and be sore!
This place is amazing and pure playground for adults and teenagers!
We went with the intention of using our groupons, $ 45 for 1 hour ninja warrior, 1 go carting, and 1 hour bowling for 2 people but ends up it was Halloween event night and we couldn’t use it. But the special was too good to miss out that we ended up staying. For $ 30, it was unlimited activities all night long from 9 to 2!
We started off with carting and it was super fun and fast! Also easier to maneuver than the carts at Andretti’s, so it was much more enjoyable.
Then off to the ninja warrior courses! It was surreal! All those obstacles that you see on TV, you actually get to challenge yourself! Granted not all courses are as hard as the actual show, it ain’t no picnic. We SWEATED and laughed at ourselves for landing on the cushions than actually making to the finish line. It was quite a workout that we were SORE by the end of it, but of course in a good way! Just a tip though, don’t exert too much or you may feel lightheaded and make sure you hydrate yourself. There’s plenty of water and Gatorade vending machines…
We did sign up to bowl but unfortunately the wait was too long that we went carting one more time and called it a night. We’ll leave the bowling for next time.
Aside for these main activities, there’s a full bar and plenty of sofas to lounge around. Right now, this place is fairly new and not as crowded that we got to enjoy it to its full advantage. Would definitely recommend this place for group activity. Only disappointment was that we left way before closing and made me wanna CRY… will come back soon!

Went here with the bf and his crew this past Monday night. Most of the entertainment were half off. Unsure if this is a promo thing or a long standing thing since this place is fairly new.
I believe there is also an obstacle course? But you have to have either a large group or sign up in advance or something funky with it. Inquire before taking my word for it. lol.
If you have the need for speed, def check out this place. Pssh: The cars aren’t on a preset course and you’re just bumping along. It’s a freestyle race along a turning course — indoors btw. The car races last about 10 mins or so, but the wait time can be long. They hold the races in waves so make sure to check in with them immediately.
The bowling was super fun bc you have to take pics for the animation that plays throughout the game. The game purchases are different bc you buy them by the hour versus by game. So with 5 folks and a game purchase of 1 hr, we were able to get 1 ½ games in.
If you just want to chill, there’s also a bar here. I believe there are arcade games somewhere, but we didn’t spot any as we browsed around. There are plenty of TV’s with sports channels so grab a beer and enjoy!
If you aim for the Zaxby’s, you’ll be in the area. There is always the Race Trac across the street.
