This location of Family Dollar is the type of store that gives dollar stores in general their less than desirable reputation.
This store is cluttered, messy and not very clean. Special mention needs to be made regarding the cold food area. I opened the refrigerated case to buy some eggs and the smell that hit me coming out of the cooler was just simply disgusting. I opened the milk case and… whoa…something was definitely spoiled in there or was recently and had not been cleaned well at all.
The one bright spot about this store (and the reason it doesn’t get a 1 star rating from me) are the employees. The staff that I came into contact with all seemed pleasant and friendly.
On the whole — drive by this store. There are better/​cleaner discount/​dollar stores in close proximity.
