Checkers Drive-In Restaurant

Besides the messed up food order and the fact they didn’t give me a receipt i called only to be told by the nasty «shift manager» that she didn’t care. They shorted me a whole meal and gave me old grease soaked food. Then she said i was a lier and without the receipt she isn’t going to do anything about it. Tammy was her name. Very very rude. I manage and this is NO WAY acceptable to talk to a customer in a such a disgusting manner. And what major fast food chain doesn’t take Amex? Hopefully the call to corporate will fix their problem. Anyway until they fix their staff issues and your hungry late in the area their is a Mexican place a block away open until 1am and the food and service is great.

It’s checkers. What can I say besides its the best food that’s open around when you’re trying to soak up all that alcohol after the club! This location I have been to approximately 3 – 4 times and it’s painfully slow! The drive thru I spent 14 minutes in last night and it was beyond ridiculous! They are clearly understaffed due to the now hiring signs they have plastered All over. I won’t be returning my friend stayed up the street that’s the only reason I stopped at this location! It’s sad my favorite location on 10^th and Spring st is closed :-(

This checkers in particular is one of the most bootleg establishments I’ve ever visited. They constantly ruin my order. I once bought an order of chili fries and come to my surprise they added extra but not the good extra, I found hair and grass in my fries. Their food defies logic, how do you get grass indoors in food. you get what you paid for.

for a jimmy carter-​fast food chain, this location is not bad. I used to visit here frequent when I lived in gwinnett, since they have better tasting burgers at the best prices compared to every other fast food franchise. nowadays, it’s not that much of frequent visits, but I’ll tell you this. I’ve NEVER had my order get screwed up. *knocks on wood* (just in case)
I’ve never had trouble with long waits nor the service here either. the staff here has always been friendly. yet, I do tend tend to visit them when the sun’s going down or there isn’t even any sun out. the evening staff have always smiled and had good manners. that’s always pretty impressive to see outside of chickfila…

Slowest Checker ever! Expect to turn your engine off and sit at the drive thru for 20 mins with just an order of small fries. Its not even lunch hours… its 3:44pm… what the heck are they doing in there???
