Sunset Sky Grooming

I have 2 long hair cats. I took both of them in about 6 months ago and they did a wonderful job, not too short. I recently took one back in for a summer haircut and again a fabulous job. I have been to places in the past that did not listen to my specifications. I’ll keep coming back.

I came in to get my puppy’s first haircut and was happy with the results. The price was very affordable and the haircut was completed in a few hours. My puppy (pomeranian chihuahua) was easy going with everyone who was handling him. I came in also on a hot day and was running a little bit late but the groomers were kept him in a cool spot and gave him water too. The cut itself was exactly what I wanted and was even on all sides. I look forward to coming back again!

This groomer did a great job on my little Buttercup. I’m very pleased with their service and I will definitely be bringing my Buttercup back for more service.

Ive been bringing my girls here fir a while now. Their pricing is very reasonable. The do a good job on my Yorkies, attentive to the special needs of each dog. They are by appt only which I hate/​love

Great groomers! Excellent prices – $ 10 cheaper than competitors. I’m realllllly picky when it comes to how I like my pups groomed, and the groomers here always nail it on the head.
I’m happy with the service every time I come, and appreciate the staff communicating with me when there could be a possible health issue with my dogs – such as an earache or foot wound.
I would recommend SSG to anyone.

They did a great job on my shitzu and finished his cut and bath in less than 3 hours. I like that they really took the time to ask me how I wanted the haircut and it came out perfect.

Ive had my dog groomed twice, they did a good job but the first time I went there was dog hair everywhere. I went at the end of the day and it looked like no one picked up any dog hair all day:-(. And my pups paws were sanded too much where his legs bothered him all day. But they did much better the 2^nd time we went. :-) Then the 2^nd time my mother went to pick up my baby but she said she walked in and sat down to wait for help but no one even acknowledged her. Maybe they are super busy at both times, I love how my dog looks but definitely have room for growth. Grooming gets a 4, and environment gets a 3.

Called to make an appointment and a rude lady answered and sounded like she hated her job or something. I simply asked if they had any availability for today and she just said curtly, «NO».I waited for her to say anything else and when she didn’t I just said ok thank you bye. I would have been a first time customer, but if you are not going to give me decent customer service I’ll go somewhere else. I understand if you don’t have anything available, but — «No, I’m sorry I don’t have anything available today however I do have an open slot for tomorrow would you like to come in then?» — would have been a much better response. Apparently they don’t want my business!

Moved to corona and decided to try sunset sky because of great prices and high reviews. My 2 year old westie hasn’t been groomed in a while and needed a lot of work. Came back after a short 1.5 hours to come back to the cutest I’ve ever seen her. I would highly recommend everyone to take your pets there

We have taken our boys Meeko and Gus to them three times now. We use to take them to a local shop just down the street. They were unavailable one day, so I decided to call Sunset Sky. They were able to get them in the same day and they were done just about 3 hours later; compared to other shops that hold them there all day. That was our experience anyways. We took the boys there based on great reviews. Also, because I stopped by there one day after visiting a local shop just to get some basic info. The ladies there were very busy, but took time to give me information and were very nice and showed great customer service. My husband went to pick them up, and when they came into the house, I was amazed at how great they looked. There was a noticeable difference between the grooming job done at Sunset and others they have been to. Their faces were so neatly trimmed, leaving their «cuteness» in tact. They also trimmed their feet so perfectly. We were and are VERY happy with our experiences with them.

We feel compelled to write this review for other doggy parents. We took our 3 dogs to get groomed based off of Unilocal reviews for this groomer. We have had the same groomer for 10 years but for some reason decided to try a new groomer. We called ahead of time and liked the fact we could get right in and even with our concerns about our 13 year old little shih tzus fears. we were so comforted over the phone. To be fair 2 of our dogs seemed fine when we picked them up but 1 absolutely was not right! NEVER did the groomers tell us that they had cut her head pretty bad (they instead hid it with a strange haircut to her face but long hair on top scrunched together). We didn’t notice it at first but we did notice by that night that she was very sick and in alot of pain. She couldn’t walk, had the runs and wouldn’t eat. We thought it was her age and feared losing her so quickly not knowing what was causing her dramatic decline in health and life. We took her to the Vet 2 days later fearing we would have to put her down. The Vet cleared the hair mess that was left on the top of her head to find a very deep slice in her head. He also said her little hips were displaced .his diagnosis of this was that she must have been forcefully held down at the groomers while they shaved her face! Something we did not ask for, nor was ever done to her prior! He said her lack of being able to eat was from the extreme pain she was in from the gash to her head and her little hips pulled out! He was in shock for us that none of this was disclosed to us when we picked her up! He said she clearly lost a lot of blood on her head. She has never liked her face being trimmed (something we told them when we dropped her off, and they assured us they would be cautious)…How they SHAVED her face… God only knows!!! we could only cry at the thought of what she must have gone through.

Happy Tails is the best !!! We had our 3 dogs, westie, miniature schnauzer and our carrin terrier groomed and the results were awesome!
Their staff treated our dogs with a loving touch. Please give them a try we are definitely going to go back.

My family and I had noticed that this place has drastically changed in the last few months. I decided to take my dog there a few more times to make sure the day I noticed that the girls working there were being extremely rude & my simple requests of how to cut my dog’s hair was not being listened to & maybe it was just a bad day there… but no, it seems to have got worse & my biggest clue & reason I wont go back is my dog is a very calm, well behaved dog. But each time she goes there she is shaking uncontrollably when I drop her off & pick her up… We really believe they are not being nice to animals there & have witnessed them more than raising their voices to dogs & yanking on them, just makes me sick! Why have a business like that if you have some kind of anger/​stress problem?! Leave it to people who love animals & know how to treat their paying customers & their pets!

I recently moved to Corona and was looking for a reputable place to take my girls. I found Sunset Sky Grooming on Unilocal and was very happy to see all the positive reviews. I had initially made an appointment for only two of my girls but decided to bring the third in at the last minute. This didn’t cause any issues at all. The girls here were very nice and my puppies came out looking pretty had tails wagging. And it took them less than two hours to do all three of my babies. Best of all they were very affordable. I’m so happy that I found this place. I will be back for sure!

I absolutely love this place. Great prices and they do a great job. I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. Usually takes them about 2 hours. The only downside is how hard it is to get an appointment in! But it’s definitely worth the wait.

I love this place! So glad l found them through Unilocal.I usually take my maltipoo to another groomer in Norco (Guy’s DoggyPaws) but after her last groom with him, he took about 5 hours to groom her. I didn’t want to take her back after that. My dog is usually not too friendly with groomers, but they handled her just well. And when they called me to pick her up, I asked over the phone if my dog behaved well and the lady was honest and said that she did kind of jump when she was handling her paws. I like that honesty.
I will definitely be taking my dog here again for her next groom. She looks so beautiful! This place is affordable and the customer service is great!

I loved Sunset Groomers! I used them based on reviews from Unilocal and I was not disappointed! They returned my call promptly, scheduled an appt for 2 dogs for the same day only a few days later! They were inexpensive and my dogs looked GREAT! They seemed to have enjoyed it as well! They are definetly my new groomers!

This is definitely my new groomer! I have been trying to find a groomer for a few months, as I was unhappy with my former groomer due to their service (my dog always looked slightly «off» and I was never completely satisfied with his cut) and the time it took them to groom him (4 hours for a 20 lb. dog).
So after some Unilocaling I tried out Sunset Sky this past week based on other Unilocalers’ reviews… and I couldn’t be happier! They groomed my dog and our new 5 month old puppy in an hour and a half and both looked great!!! I even got a toothbrush for my puppy since it was her first professional grooming. I felt the groomers were knowledgeable and gentle with my dogs, and their prices were very fair (about average).
They did inform me they are moving from the home address listed, to a shop on Hamner Ave. @ 1680 Hamner Ave. Ste 19, Norco 92 860.

My new favorite dog groomer in town. I would never had found this little gem if not from my friend’s referral.
We had a wonderful experience here with my 2 cocker spaniels last week. The girls there are warm and welcoming. They really listen to what you want done with your dog and follow through. Prices are fair, very reasonable.
