I went here about 2 years ago and was very happy with my result. I don’t remember the stylist or even what she looked like… but i just remember being happy. I called this morning because I am in need of some layers. The lady that answered said everyone that was currently there was booked up but would call me if she found someone. I got a call about 15 minutes later from Darlene, saying she could take me at 11:30. I was so happy that she was able to work me in. I got there 15 minutes early and waited. One of the stylists approached me and said that Darlene was running a little late and she would be right there. so I waited a while longer… and waited… and waited. I left at 11:50. If she was willing to work me in, she could at least have given me the correct time.

Had my haircut with Lisa on Friday, she did a great job. She asked lots of questions, and knew exactly what to do. Salon was clean, and everyone was friendly. Will be back for sure! Thanks Lisa!

Came here many years ago for highlights, deep conditioning and a haircut. I can’t remember the name of the stylist but she refused to put highlights in my hair because it was a little damaged. I understand looking out for your clients hair health and all, but when the client wants some highlights– give them highlights! I wanted my hair done for a family event, and instead I received a deep conditioning treatment, a haircut, and walked out purchasing a leave in damage repair treatment in a red bottle by Lanza. I actually ended up loving the Lanza conditioner, but was disappointed that the stylist refused to put highlights in my hair. I ended up leaving and going to another salon to get my highlights done.

Love this place! Been coming for 9 years now and always get the best service. The girls are always so nice. Definitely would recommend you to come here for your color cuts and highlights.

Jaimie is so great! She gives me my beautiful vibrant red! She has a pleasant personality, is always prompt & I leave feeling well-​cared for. She had helped me through the awkward «grow-​out» stages!

The first time I came here I was very disappointed when I got my hair done by one of the stylists. The reason I was disappointed was because of the color. The owner Lisa is one if the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She offered to make it right and did my hair again at no charge. She did an amazing job and I always return for her to do my hair. I recommend anyone to get their hair done and come to a place where the customers concerns are taken seriously and problems are resolved. I am one happy customer!!!

Lisa did my hair yesterday for the first time and I can actually say I LOVE it! The whole experience was 5-​star! When I called to make my appointment, she was very nice over the phone and was able to get me in next day. When I got there I saw that the shop was very clean and nicely decorated. Lisa took me right at my appointment time. During the shampoo she massaged my scalp (the best part of a hair cut in my opinion so I hate when it’s left out.) She went over in detail what I wanted and honestly, what I wanted was a bit picky. I’m always worried about taking too much off but she did a great job. She took her time and round brushed and blow dried my hair so it was nice and bouncy when I left. Sometimes it’s hard to achieve that hair salon look after you get home but I had no problems styling it this morning. 10 minutes and it looked just as great as it did yesterday.

I have been coming to this salon for as long as I can remember and it never fails me. I get my hair done by Lisa and she is super awesome and organized. She keeps track of what I get done so I don’t have to remember which is nice. It’s super clean and relaxing in here. It’s not loud and rowdy. You won’t regret coming here.

I’ve been using the same hairdresser for 18 years, and was looking to find someone closer to home. Changing hairdressers is nothing if not a huge leap of faith. I first went to Doo It Up a few months ago because a friend recommended Laura Cuff. I was a nervous wreck that day knowing one of two things; either I will be thrilled with the results or will spend the next 6 weeks wearing hats.
I can’t remember the last time I felt completely elated when I looked in the mirror. The cut was exactly what I wanted, but she did something that gave my hair the most incredible lift. The length was dead on, and the color was amazing. I’ve had so many compliments on the color.
When I went back for my second cut and color with Laura, I was nervous again praying that the first cut wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t! Once again, she gave me the cut, shape and color that made me feel like a million dollars.
One more thing, she is AMAZING with her use of color. She did a permanent color of brown with red highlights the first time, and the second time she used something slightly different which gives my hair a break between permanent colors, which means less dried out hair and breakage.
Oh, wait — one more thing… she makes the whole experience a lot of fun, she doesn’t keep you there for hours on end working on others in between the steps she takes to do my hair. The atmosphere is great, and the price is truly competitive,
I really believe she’s going to be one of those «I can’t live without my stylist» stylists.

i went in a couple of weeks ago along with my two kids. I didn’t ask for any specific styler because I didn’t know anyone. but I guess that was part of the problem. There are about 3 young stylist and the rest were older. Im only 30 years old and my style when i walked out, seemed to be one of a 50 year old.

My son’s cut was «ok» which was pretty simple cut.
My hair on the other hand was not. I don’t remember the stylist name because I was upset when i got home I threw away her card and I washed my hair out front the out dated styling. I asked for layers and my hair ended up being way too short. i have a chunk of hair on top that is super short (it ends on my ear) and then the rest of my hair ends below my shoulder. When i got there my hair length was to my bra strap and i told her I only wanted layers.
My 2 year old daughter had a hair cut and her bangs trimmed… she has the top layer of her bangs shorter then the bottom ones. I have always cut her bangs and I know where the stylist did wrong because its happened to me, she cut it wrong.
Needless to say I won’t be back.

I have been coming here for a couple of years now. The owner Lisa does a fabulous job on my hair and moms hair and is super friendly and patient! She always makes sure my mom and I are happy with our doo’s. The place is clean, cute and staff is very friendly. They always have fresh coffee or tea.

This place is clean and the décor is cute. Staff is very friendly. I had a cut by Laura and she was very sweet. However she did just about the opposite of what I asked her to do. She took off a lot of length that it asked her to leave plus she cut short layers into my hair which I specifically asked her not to do. I am not happy with my cut. Might have to go else where to get it fixed.

Unilocal… if you could see my hair right now you would be UnilocalING! too. I AM! Ginny ANN but don’t call her that has turned my black hair blonde and I am having more fun. Want to be like me … DOO IT UP!!!

This review is about a hair genius at this salon named Kim Mowbray. I have been coming here for about three years and wanted to keep this place a secret but I can’t anymore. I’ve been greedy for too long and need to share Kim with others because she’s damn fabulous. Not only is she sweet, accomodating and affordable ($ 65 for highlights, cut and style), but she is incredibly also knowledgeable about coloring agents and current hair products/​technologies. Lastly, she has an amazing aesthetic and artistic eye. She doesn’t just «do hair;» she creates gorgeous looks and styles by working with you and collaborating on what would look best for you personally. I love Kim and will never go anywhere else. She is truly a hidden gem. Let me just say I drive from Orange County to Norco just to see her. I wouldn’t do that for the average hairstylist.

I went to get a blonde ombré which should have been simple because my hair was already blonde with roots and Penny messed it up so bad it was chunky way to blonde with blue streaks! I e-​mailed the owner and she agreed to have me come in the next day to fix it free of charge which was great but it after she was finished it was messed up even more it is almost black now with ashy blonde ends! I am so unhappy with my hair and should have never wasted my time there!

I got my hair done by Penny this weekend. She’s super nice, does a great job. I got high lights and a trim. Did exactly what i asked and was affordable!
I love the purple décor.

From the guys perspective, I’m very please with the results, I would not want my wife to go anywhere else, Lisa, the owner does an excellent job, she looks amazing. She spends a reasonable time with her, looks like the salon’s main focus is quality rather than quantity, which is what customers like.
I well recommend this place, you won’t regret it.
