Chute 9 Salon and Spa

I was in a couple of weeks ago and Shelley cut my hair. I wait a very long time between haircuts because I had a bad experience once and I’m not very trusting. I went in and told Shelley that I wanted it shorter but I still need to get it in a ponytail. My hair is thick and frizzy and a nightmare for me so I never wear it down. Shelly did a great job and blow dried it straight and it looked beautiful. I can now wear it up or down, she tamed the curls some :) Thank you Shelley I will recommend you highly!

I have been here once and I saw Shelly. She was the nicest person and I LOVE how she trimmed my hair. She gave me a really cute style! It almost time for another trim and I will definitely be going to Shelly again!

I love that my stylist totally gets curly hair. Shout out to Michelle K. I had my hair cut to a LOB after 10 years of having it mid back. Then I went back for a Brazilian blow out. Next week, highlights :) I haven’t been this excited about hair in years. Thank you Michelle!

Amazing! Michelle has been cutting/​coloring, etc my hair since 2007. I would never go to anyone else. She is wonderful. Went in last night for a cut and color and was offered a glass of wine. Everytime I go in I get above and beyond what i expected. 10 stars!!!

Very quaint and personalized. I followed Shelley (Michelle Rogers) from her Chino Hills shop. Always comfortable, good service and worth the drive. Decorated nicely and an easy access location. Highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Michelle (Shelley) Rogers for my hair for a few years now. Followed her to this location and now she owns the place! She always does a great job cutting and coloring my hair. My teenage son also gets his hair cut here by Michelle.
They also do waxing and airbrush tans. Everyone here is really nice and the salon is adorable!

This place is a gem! I went here for the first time on ⁵⁄₃₁. I had purchase this amazing deal they were doing. I ended up getting the deal for my mom for Mothers day and i purchased one for myself so it could be like a mother-​daughter type of thing.
The package came with a hair cut and a facial. They both did a great job. I don’t like to cut to much of my hair because i like it long and usually the places I got to argue with me to cut more. Obviously i know I need it but I don’t want to. She didn’t question me at all and did exactly as i wanted!
The facial was one of the best I’ve had. The room was so nice and relaxing I could of fell asleep!
All and all it ended up being a great day for my mom and I. She loved every minute of it! She loved the décor and home like feeling to the place. She said she felt like she was at the salon from the movie «Steel Magnolias». haha we love that movie BTW
They were also very accommodating due to the fact that my mom lives about an hour away and the package we received is for two visits. So she was able to fit us both in one day and a Saturday nonetheless. I was very happy they were able to do that for us. Thank you Chute 9 for our great experience!

I made an appointment sort of on a whim to cut and re-​color my hair, armed w/​photos of a MUCH shorter style. Shelly Rogers did an AMAZING job transforming a worn out cut and color job into a sassy, yet sophisticated style I can actually do myself! She spent time ensuring the cut was precise and the color is absolutely awesome. I have gotten tons of compliments, even my husband loved it and he is not entirely fond of short hair. Such a cute shop! It’s an older home remodeled into a hair salon. When you walk in, it’s clearly modernized with dark hardwood floors, squeaky clean, but captures that old world charm. You might even accidentally drive past it because the sign isn’t big being that they are on the horse trail side, but it’s worth turning around and coming back! Most importantly, Kelly added some blonde to my daughter’s hair and she’s had nothing but compliments on it. We love the color and the cut, and Kelly was so much fun! Good conversation makes the time fly by too fast and before you know it, we were done! I will definitely be coming back! Fast, friendly, fun. Thank you Kelly! :)

Purchased a living social deal for the Brazillian blowout. Read the 2 reviews on the salon and decided to try to book an appt. Kelly answers the phone and I ask if they have any available appts today. She says no, the stylists aren’t even in until 1pm, and even then she (singular stylist?) is booked. I ask if they normally come in later in the day or if they ever have mornings available? She said they do mornings, it’s just a fluke today. I say «ok, is tomorrow morning an option; I took today off of
Work and didn’t plan on taking two, but it’s ok, I can do tomorrow.» She says «well maybe you should have thought about that before taking the day off work.» I say «excuse me?» She says «it’s not our problem that you didn’t try to book the appt before taking the day off.» So I said «ma’am, with all due respect, I didn’t take the day off solely for the chance of a hair appt with your company and I don’t appreciate the rude tone or remark.» She said «whatever.» And hung up. Nice customer service, lady. Will be getting a living social refund. Never been spoken to so rudely for no reason.

I have had a number of services at Chute 9, and they have all been great!!! I LOVE the spray tan, and I am about to book my next facial and lash extensions. Kristie is an exceptional hairdresser and colorist, and everybody uses excellent products. What a great salon!
