Horrible… Rice was cold with a weird taste. Sauce on chicken was bad, sticky… Over all just bad food. Get a microwave dinner first.

No clue how I found this place but I did. For noblesville Chinese it’s pretty good. I’m always hesitant to try a new Chinese place because the one we normally go to is hard to beat. I ordered the kung pao chicken. Definitely above average. Could use more sauce though and it was not spicy at all. I’ll know better next time I order! I also order wonton soup. It was awesome! Enough said. Just like most places, the portions are larger and the price is low. I will definitely be ordering again.

The king of the Northside suburbs Chinese take-out places by a mile. It may not be as good as it once was but the food is still several notches better than the competition’s.

So while the name doesn’t show that this is a Chinese restaurant, this doesn’t take away from the fact that it has some pretty good takeout. It’s hard to compare Chinese food places, and this one of the better ones I’ve had. It literally is set up as a takeout place, and that is understandable, as that’s mostly what I’ve seen from Chinese restaurants(that aren’t buffets, or PF Changs). It is also close to me, so I will be coming here for my Chinese takeout needs.

I’ve been craving Chinese food for a few weeks now so on Sunday after running around all day, my boyfriend and I decided to try out a new place that my girlfriend and her husband really enjoy. Since we didn’t have a menu beforehand, we decided just to go to Great Taste and order in person. Once we determined they didn’t have bourbon chicken(a slight letdown for my boyfriend) we settled on an order of crab rangoon(a staple when we order Chinese), sesame chicken and garlic chicken. We waited for around 10 minutes or so, got our food and headed home. We only live about 5 – 10 minutes away so needless to say I was disappointed that once we got home and sat down to eat that everything wasn’t hot at all. When we went back for seconds, we both warmed our dishes up in the microwave. Both the chicken dishes were tasty but the crab rangoons but not as good as our regular Chinese place. Perhaps we’ll try them again and hope that the food is hot the next time.

This is a very unassuming jewel! It is located in a strip mall tucked in between other businesses but if you want authentic Chinese cuisine, at a reasonable price, this is it. Although there is seating inside, most people carry out. Their General’s chicken is superb, each order made fresh. There is also their«House Special» made with rice noodles, pork, shrimp and veggies. It is delicious. Don’t expect to get into a long conversation with the owner as no one speaks English! But they do know how to work hard and cook great Chinese. Next time you have a hankering for Chinese, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Taste consistently provides fantastic Chinese food. Service is quite good and we can eat in or take it home either way it gets a thumbs up.
