As far as a chain Mexican restaurant goes, this place was good. Fun atmosphere, décor and a great menu selection. The salsa was good and chips tasted fresh. My enchilada was great and generous in portions. I took at least half of it home. Our waitress was a little quiet, but we got her talking and she ended up being very funny. Looking forward to going back and trying something new on the menu!

Loved the food and service overall! Awesome idea of chips and salsa while you wait. Had the steak burrito, definitely spicy but right up my alley! Definitely a place to return to. Service was quick and friendly, and food was delivered quickly!

Met my work family here on a very busy Monday night. Party of 8, we waited 45 minutes for a table. Never been there before. The have an open nacho bar while you wait, found out after our meal. Looks like I could have dined on it alone. I ordered the chica chica boom. I was amazingly good. The beans were spicy hot and the rice was really good. My friend ordered beers and it was a long wait for their drinks. They even ordered another round when one was being delivered and it was still a wait. I was sitting under a cold vent, I would dress in layers during winter, it was uncomfortable cold while I was eating and I don’t usually get cold.

Great addition to this part of town! We had a large party(14 and two babies) and they got us in within 40 minutes of arriving on a very busy night. They offer the chips and salsa while waiting which is nice. So the wait didn’t seem as long. I got the combo 5 with the enchilada and a chalupa and it was delicious. One of my favorite sauces in a restaurant is at chuys! The jalapeño Ranch dipping sauce for the chips. And the chips — so fresh, and crispy. Big fan of chuys. And our server robin was on top of everything.

Servers vary from fun to annoyed. Salsa is top notch. This place you have to find what you like and then you will keep coming back. Margaritas are so so.

Went here with my parents and niece and it was great. They had a Santa which my niece loved. The chips were excellent as was all the food. Our waiter was really nice and patient even when my niece spilled something. I didn’t try the margaritas that night, but the people next to us were raving. It was also fun looking at all the cool stuff on the walls. It’s definitely a good place to go if you’re bringing kids.

Chips and salsa– delicious! Drinks– good. Food– bland. I love the salsa and the Margaritas. Unfortunately the food is all pretty bland. Got chicken tacos and hubby got fajitas and couldn’t even tell the difference. Loud atmosphere. Typical chain type place.

Sadly, my experiences here have been fairly forgettable. After reading the glowing reviews and noting the always-packed parking lot I had great expectations for this place. I didn’t write a review after my disappointing first visit, thinking I would try other menu items, on other visits, hoping that maybe I just happened to dine here on an off night. Unfortunately my other visits were disappointing as well. Darn. Because I really wanted to love this place. And I am puzzled because so many people do love it. All of the menu items I have tried were bland, flavorless, almost tasteless. No zip, zest, or spice. The queso was thin and nearly watery. The beans tasted like they came straight out of a can. Enchiladas: bland. Tacos: generic. Quesadilla: forgettable. I would have thought I had ordered from Taco Bell’s dollar menu. The creamy jalapeño dip was my favorite thing, yet it was very mild. The décor was interesting and the atmosphere enjoyable. But the food is what really matters. I love Mexican food. But there are many Mexican restaurants in the Noblesville/Fishers area that offer much tastier, more flavorful, spicy, unique food.

I can’t put in words how great my eating experience was today. The food was incredible, so much so that I couldn’t stop eating, to the point of stomach pains. The service was amazing, my drink never ran out, chips never ran out, salsa also. Our server had a great, hilarious personality. I ran out of money to tip him. And on top of all that the music playlist in here was supa hot fire. Highly highly recommend this place to anybody.

After eating here about half a dozen times, I can now say without a doubt that this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Maybe even top 10 restaurants I enjoy eating at in general because of how great the service is and the fun atmosphere! The servers have always been nice and prompt. Some have went way above and beyond explaining the companies history and philosophy and waiting on our every want/need. They have a cool side menu of dips to compliment your meal. All made daily fresh like their salsa I’m told. **Do not forget to ask for«Creamy Jalapeño» dip** My wife and kids beg me to make the drive(45 minutes for us) to eat there all the time now. So you’ll be seeing us more often!

This place rocks! Sit in the bar and ask for Queen B to be your waitress! She is amazing!!! She knows us on a first name basis, knows our drink orders, and our food order. She should run this place!

I love, love, love their chips and salsa! Thin, light, crispy, salty chips paired with super fresh salsa!(or pico? not sure where the line is with that) I got the fajitas which were pretty good. Pretty standard I’d say but I thought the bowl with garnishments was nice. I tried the jalapeño ranch dip and thought it was okay. I prefer more spice but I know many people don’t. We had superb service from our waitress. The décor was cool. I was wanting to ask about the identities of the people in the pictures but they were so hopping busy that I thought I’d better wait until next visit. I think next time we’ll visit the bar and check out the nacho bar and the adult drink menu.

Yeah, after last night’s visit, I’m taking away a couple of stars. Maybe they were having a bad night, and maybe it was a one-off issue, but that doesn’t really matter. We were seated outside, even though we didn’t ask for that. At some restaurants, being seated outside means you’ll be ignored twice as much as the patrons inside. This would be one of those places. We waited 35 minutes for soup. The food finally came 25 minutes after that. It wasn’t a good experience.

A friend has been raving about Chuy’s for months, so we went as a work group to celebrate her recent birthday. I was surprised at the insanity that hit me as I opened the door. It’s kind of a senses overload and hard to take in everything on the walls; fun T-shirts galore, dog pictures, fiesta chotchkies everywhere. Adding to the chaos, they were already busy at 5:30 p.m. As I waited in the bar for my party to arrive, I was sold on a signature Margarita with Jalapeño infused tequila in a cocktail strainer equivalent to two drinks. I noticed people hovering around the tail end of a classic car and realized that they have a FREE nacho bar with chips, queso and beef set up from 4−7pm daily. It was quite the crowd-pleaser and depleted quickly, with servers hustling to keep it stocked. Once my group arrived we decided to enjoy the breeze on the patio and were quickly seated. The guacamole was tasty and the server kept us happy with assorted frozen libations as we chatted it up and celebrated. When it came time to order, I chose the Lite Plate, as it was easy fare consisting of a beef taco, guacamole & chile con queso. It’s easy to fill up on the nacho bar, and I would probably plan on going just for drinks in the bar going forward unless I opted to bring the family.

I will start off by saying, as usual, I got this to go. Don’t judge. Don’t hate. I work with people all day. Like truly with people. And sometimes that makes you not want to be surrounded by a lot of people. I ordered in so there was a minimum order. Meaning I had to get more than one person normally would, which is good for a review. I got a chicken burrito and their nachos. Those that keep along with my Unilocal!reviews will know I love my nachos. I had a place near St. Louis where I would drive like 45 minutes to get to because I loved their nachos SO much(Seven Lounge… I am looking at you). I have been hunting for nachos in Indianapolis that are equally good. So far I have been unsuccessful, but Chuy’s has been the closest. Not in execution(much different components), but in tastiness. The Nachos are four stars. Would be five if I wasn’t so in love with those from Seven. The burrito was probably 4.5 stars. The chips and salsa though? Mediocre at best. I don’t know why that bothers me, but it always does when a Mexican restaurant has chips that you don’t feel like eating tons of.

Really decent first impression. We came here on a Saturday evening while in the area to meet friends at the nearby theater. I also had a coupon for free queso from a prior Unilocal event so I was excited to check the place out! It was quite busy but they told us we could check out the bar to see if there was seating so we found a table in the area. Service was pretty good based on how busy I could tell she was. We really enjoyed the queso and chips so that kept us entertained while we waited for our entrees. We both got burritos, different types, I can’t remember exactly what mine was but it was chicken with a green sauce and delicious. My husband like his too. They were also big, and with all the chips I ate, I ended up bringing half home. It made a good leftover lunch! One thing I love about the bar is all the pictures of dogs, adorable touch! If I am every up in this area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in, however, it is very far from my home so it could be a while! Or who knows, maybe they will expand!

Great tex-mex style place. Glad the people of Austin, TX is bringing this place in Indy. The décor is lively and plenty of large tables for big parties. They have an outdoor veranda which is perfect during the summer. A kids menu is available and the usual fare of tacos, enchiladas and burritos are to be expected. Margaritas are a recommended drink. Don’t expect this to be a traditional mexican restaurant similar to your fave place in cancun or Cabo San Lucas. It’s just not. As for desserts, it’s just ok. I’ll probably skip this part. However, you can never say no to the chips and salsa when they initially place it in your table. Just ask for a side of guacamole and you’re good to go.

I know Tex-Mex and this some of the best you will find outside of Texas. The food is always GOOD! We love this place, but it can be crowded. We normal sit in the bar because there can be a long wait time on a table. They have a chip and salsa bar. Monday — Friday there is a free nachos bar. We love the burritos and fajitas they are a must try. Try the creamy cilantro dip.

Still reasonably new but very very consistent and in a good way! The staff is exceptional and if I think about it may be some of the best around! They seem to want to go out of their way to make your visit a positive one! Also they make their own chips and tortillas which are out of this world. We have eaten here several times at different times of the day and have always had a great time! It’s a fun and clean environment and I highly recommend this place.

Surprised with a full parking lot that there was no wait to get in the door. They have an amazing amount of space inside. The décor is a little confusing as there are Mexican tiles on the floor and ceiling, diner style tables and chairs, and the menu mentions Elvis Pressley several times. The server was very quick with chips, Salsa, and beverages. The food also came fairly quickly for having a full restaurant. The fish tacos had a great flavor and the creamy jalapeño sauce with cabbage was just the right flavor. My fiancé had the steak fajitas. The meat was done right, and there were several fixins that he could add to it. These included sour cream, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, and Rice. They seem to be decently priced and the menu has a ton of variety on it to accommodate vegetarians as well as meat eaters. It is worth a try.
