Very good food and a great experience. We had a large table and did not experience the service issues others have mentioned. We shared a pitcher of sangrias — great choice! Each of us ordered different items and no one was disappointed.

Clean, cozy, and generally good service but their baked goods are way overpriced. The portions are a bit small, so I wouldn’t call it my go-to place when I’m real hungry.

I’ve been eating at Lola’s since they opened, and they always have great food and great service. I’ve had them cater baby showers and Christmas parties, with great results!

Good coffee. The food is very much like you would make at home, pretty good, if you don’t feel like cooking. The cinnamon rolls are good but they run out quickly. The service is mediocre. It generally takes them 45 minutes to put together bacon and eggs so make sure you have plenty of time. The fruit ‘bowl’ is about the size of a quarter. Overall not bad.

I told my husband I was not about to leave Missouri, without eating at a real Nixa eatery. The wonderful reviews did not steer me wrong. The food was excellent, our waitress was delightful, our children were happy, and the Decore was amazing. It’s like being at grandmas house.

Excellence every time! Favorites include soup, salad and quiche. If your meal stuffs your belly you can always take the pastry or pie home. They do it right with friendly service. Can be a challenge to park and you may have to wait since this place is incredibly popular, in fact the only place with a longer line is the Nixa DMV.

Checked out Lola’s on a Sunday morning around 9am. The waitress said they were unusually quiet; but it was to my benefit, the cinnamon french toast came out perfect. Took home one of their cinnamon buns on her recommendation also. It is gooey. If you don’t like gooey, chewy cinnamon buns, don’t buy it. The restaurant is in what appears to be a retrofitted house on a side street just off one of the main intersections in Nixa. It’s just far enough out of the way that you won’t be fighting traffic to get in and out. It’s clean. Even the bathrooms. It’s not too big for the employees to handle and I think that figures in to most places that are really good at what they do. Keep the scale of the business manageable. I went back next Sunday about the same time to see if she was telling me the truth and sure enough the place was nearly full. I heard her tell another customer they had run out of cinnamon buns about 2 hours earlier. they really are THAT good. Tried the cinnamon french toast again to measure consistency; a little drier than before but still pretty good. I understand their breakfast quiche is quite good and several people ordered while I was there. Now that I have recon’ed the place I will be bringing in Mrs. Wales for the real test… but she doesn’t write reviews.

I was super disappointed in the Valentines Day Special on Saturday! Please keep in mind our bill was over $ 63.00 because we tip generously. The actual price of the meal with tax was $ 53.00 something. Let me first begin with the«shrimp cocktail». It was laughable when they set it down and I should have seen the writing on the wall immediately. It was 3 tiny shrimp on a plate. If the would have given me one regular sized shrimp and cut it in three pieces, that would be the total amount of shrimp I got. And it tasted awful… Strike one. Then came the salad which had almost more sweet croutons than lettuce. That was the extent of the salad. Croutons and Romaine lettuce was all it consisted of. No tomato, no carrots… just sweet croutons and lettuce served on a plate the size of a saucer. The only part of the meal that was actually good was the parmesan chicken and potatoes. I couldn’t eat the CANNED green beans they served. They were awful… no seasonings, except for maybe dill weed. Then comes the cake. Their specialty, so I hear. It was so covered in frosting and too sweet. The people we dined with got the prime rib. Prime rib is usually a pretty big meal. Their meat was not even the portion of filet mignon! I felt robbed. I would expect to get a crappy meal for $ 25 in a high dollar area like New York, or Boston… but little olé Nixa. NO way! I should have gone to Rosie Joe’s… the food is better and we would have saved over $ 40. Next year I need to make my reservations early. Buyer beware!

Nice little breakfast and lunch spot. Had biscuits and gravy which were great. Cream cheese coffee cake was very good. They ran out of cinnamon rolls by 9am so only 4 stars from me.
My wife loves to make me come here, but every time I come I do enjoy the food and desert.

Went here for breakfast. Place is nice, clean, and interesting. Our waitress was sassy and we found her delightful. We started off by splitting a cinnamon roll. It was very good. You can tell they use real sugar and real butter. We are glad we split it. I had the biscuits and gravy while she had the breakfast sandwich. We liked both but the biscuits in both could have been better. Almost a 4 star. We will be back.

I love Lola’s. It’s a local family, and I’ve been going there ever since I was in high school. The place is situated in the middle of Nixa, just behind AutoZone in a house. It’s homey, warm, and everything you wanted for a lunch date with mom or friends. My favorite is the salads or the club– which is best served with the chips and you need to request a side of the blueberry poppyseed dressing to dig your potato chips in. It’s good– promise. They are also pretty reasonably priced. You can usually do lunch for two with a piece of the amazing cake for under $ 20. The serve breakfast too, which is extremely girly, but pretty good as well.

Such a civilized breakfast nook in Nixa. With so many other diners you have to contend with billows of smoke and leaving with a film of grease on your sleeve. You might pay a bit more here but it is worth the quality & atmosphere! Now, if you’re in a rush to get to work, skip the place or order ahead. The joint doesn’t open until 7:30AM. They make the breakfasts to order and if there’s a large crowd, it could take 20 minutes for your food to reach the table. If you’re having a kaffeeklatsch with one of your best friends, that won’t matter at all. The breakfast quiche with a side of fruit was the perfect amount and my friend raved about the salad plate sized cinnamon roll. Enjoy yourself a country chic breakfast!

This place is the best. We go here all the time. I love everything I have ever tried on the menu. So does my hubby and my 2 year old son. My son loves getting the muffin tin, a six spot muffin tin with turkey, cheese, carrots, crackers, fruit and ranch dip. Oh and with a cookie at the end! Everyone I have taken here has also loved it. The desserts are fabulous and the breakfast is wonderful, not greasy liked at most places. Yes it is usually crowded and it can be hard to get a table. And yes it can take a long time to eat here because of said crowd. But I say it is worth it. I would choose Lola’s for lunch any day of the week over just about any place. Things I’ve tried and loved: Flavored tea(if you prefer sweet ask for it half and half), Chicken caesar salad(the chicken is so tender!), 3 cheese tomato basil panini(I think I got this for a year straight everytime I went), Chicken caesar club ciabatta(my new fav), BLT, … My sister and hubby love the Chicken bacon dijon panini and the Mediterranean salad… Seriously everything is good. Every dessert I have tried has also been fab. Ooey butter cakes, to pies, to coconut cake, to the strawberry cake, to the cookies. All good! And I LOVE the staff. They are friendly and kind. Even when they are frazzled by the amount of customers, they still have a smile on their faces.

Lola’s is great! It is the perfect«take your mom to lunch» kind of restaurant. They have a really neat atmosphere, it is an old house turned into a cute little place to eat. They always have a signature iced tea such as mango strawberry and they are always delicious. They have a decent variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. My favorite thing to get is their half and half combo. It is half of one of their wonderful sandwiches and a cup of soup. I like to end my meal with one of their homemade desserts.

When I lived in Nixa, I loved going to Lola’s. The parking kind of sucks, and the atmosphere is a little weird, but the food is very good. There aren’t a lot of places in Nixa to grab a fresh, not-so-greasy meal, so it was always refreshing to go to Lola’s. I’ve tried several different items and never had something I didn’t like. A lot of times, they have some pretty good specials; I usually settled on a sandwich. The service, while not always the fastest, has always been very friendly and helpful. The only knock I could have is that they don’t seem to handle a rush all that well.

Always have a great experience at Lola’s! I even asked to have my bridal shower here, and it was awesome. Love their flavored teas, quiche, cinnamon rolls, strawberry cake and their Greek salad! Service is personable and along with the great food, makes this one of my favorite restaurants in Nixa.

Very cute little restaurant serving only breakfast and lunch. Food was delicious and the service was very upbeat and friendly. Two thumbs up on breakfast.
