I called Star Pest Control in May 2015 due to a ant problem. Travis came by for a complimentary consultation and I started his services that day. 4 months later, not an ant in sight! We use a pest control for a property in OC and they are not even at the level of this company (I am out after the 1 year contract). I really appreciate that Travis will knock on my door after finishing the service to explain everything to me and to answer any questions. Great customer service.

On a scale of 1 to awesome, STAR Pest Control is off the charts. We got back from vacation and our house was overrun with fleas. Travis was able to come down that day and take care of it right away. We also used STAR for ants earlier this year and have not had a problem since. I tend to be the ultimate DIY guy and I hate paying someone else to do a job that I know I can do myself. However, STAR Pest Control is such a good deal, it is one of the only services that I am willing to pay to have someone else do. They are awesome.

Travis is the maestro at removing bugs. He not just takes his work seriously, he has a passion for his trade. We had a fly problem common to all neighboring businesses that no one seemed to be able to resolve. Travis did. He will stay with it till you problem is resolved as a matter of pride.

We started using Travis from Star Pest Control about a year ago. The intitial problem was ants inside the house which we coud not get rid of. Travis came and with the first treatment they were gone and have not been back since! He treats the outside now every 3 months and we have not had any ants or spiders or really any other icky crawly things since he started. He’s very professional, always on time… very respectful so you really can’t go wrong! And if there’s any problem, he can be reached easily and will come back. We have many neighbors who use him and eveyone is equally as satisfied!

Travis has been killing bugs for us for a while now. He really knows what to do to eliminate the problem of having too many creepy crawlers around while being careful not to harm kids and pets. I would highly recommend him for anyone who has excessive ants, spiders or other bugs here on the central coast. And just one black widow or creepy giant alien potato bug counts as excessive.

Travis has been killing bugs at my house for years. I had too many ants and spiders in my house and one day I said, «Travis, I need you!» and he came and took care of the bugs inside and out. I paid the big bucks to the big company he worked for until he changed departments. After that, my service was never the same with the average service guys they sent out, so I stopped paying and tried killing the bugs myself until he opened his own business.
Now that he’s back, I know the bugs will be dead and I don’t have to worry about them anymore. With his years of experience in most every area of pest control, he knows everything there is to know about killing bugs on the central coast. He knows how to do it right and you can trust him to be careful with your home and your yard. He has kids and pets of his own, so you don’t have to worry about chemicals affecting those you love. Great guy very easy to work with. Cares about his service. Small town guy owns his own business. Better service than the larger outfits and I’ve tried most of them. No complaints and I see no reason to look any further. Prices are comparable to all the rest so why not work with someone who cares about his customers.

Yes… this company is wonderful. Started using them a few months ago for a host of pest problems… including some mice issues. but all is well now. Travis comes regularly to inspect and evaluate our yard, and very attentive to what is needed. We trust him implicitly!

We were being overrun by ants no one else was able to get rid of them and keep them away. We had Travis with Star Pest Control come out and we haven’t seen an ant since… it’s been 3 months now! There was also a very large black widow by our front door that we didn’t even see but thankfully he did. Very happy with this service!

Every time Travis comes to the rescue immediately! They are so professional and the cost is great! We were infested with fleas as we moved in to our new house that was unoccupied for several yrs, Travis came and dealt with the problem immediately saving my life as we celebrated my daughters bday the day after. I started using Travis at Star pest-​control 4 months ago for a very serious ant problem. My house was built on an ant farm! With one treatment, all ants are gone. He also saved me from several black widows and a wasp nest. Just last week Travis saved my lemon tree from scale. He is very detail oriented. He is the first person that I trust not to let my dogs get out. He leaves the yard exactly right!
