Having my dogs trained by Elite Canine Services has been the wisest investment I could make to ensure the life-​long happiness, well-​being and safety of my dogs. Most importantly, the bond that we share is now that much stronger.
Before I found Elite Canine Services, I had used two separate dog training companies for my Standard Poodle, Pierre. For a very expensive fee, each week a trainer would come for an hour. The trainer would grab Pierre’s leash, briefly demonstrate what he should be doing, hand me the leash and spend the rest of the hour having me repeat what he/​she had just done. The trainer would depart with a casual, «Keep practicing and I’ll see you next lesson.» Pierre and I would spend the next week not accomplishing the desired results, completely frustrated and with me scratching my head as to why my dog wasn’t performing like he did with the trainer. Then it hit me… I’M NOT A DOG TRAINER! And why was I spending all this money to do the work myself? Needless to say, Pierre was never really trained, but rather obeyed a few commands whenever he felt like it.
When I got my second Standard Poodle, I was referred to Elite Canine Services. I contacted Trina and was immediately impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and training style. I decided that I would give this trainer thing one more try.
I sent Trina and Mikael my «wild child» and when she returned from training I honestly could not believe it was my girl! Gigi’s manners were absolutely impeccable and she happily followed each and every command. I was constantly stopped by people who commented on how well she was trained. To date, under Trina and Mikael’s skillful training, Gigi has successfully completed Service Dog Training, Therapy Dog Training and earned her Canine Good Citizenship.
Ok, back to Pierre. At 9 years old, Trina worked her magic and Pierre is finally the obedient, well-​mannered, perfect angel that I always knew he could be! It is so enjoyable to take my dogs out in public, knowing that I will not be the crazy owner with the out of control dogs. My dogs will always obey their commands.
Trina and Mikael are also fantastic groomers. Their vast knowledge, skills and perfection never fail to turn out stunning results. Again, I am approached daily by people wanting to comment on how beautiful they are. Pierre and Gigi are the envy of their Standard Poodle Club because of their excellent training, manners and grooming.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough to prove that Elite Canine Services really are the very best dog trainers and groomers, the excitement my dogs exhibit whenever they see Trina and Mikael (and the pouting they do when they leave without taking them) certainly has me convinced!

My 6 month old Lab mix is now an obedient, well-​trained sweetheart. She does not jump on new people, she listens even with lots of distractions, and walks with me without pulling. I love taking her to my son’s soccer games at the park because she is the best, most well trained dog there.
Trina is the best dog trainer, I trusted her with my baby and not only did she train her but she loved and cared for her too. I could tell just by the way my puppy gets happy when she sees Trina and she even cried when Trina left.
I am so happy I sent my puppy to Trina. When I get another puppy I am going to send him or her to Trina too. Thanks Elite Canine Service.
