Specialties
Drop in Classes — Studio 22 High TeK offers Drop-In based classes throughout the week. These classes are a pay-as-you-go based OR you can register for the whole session, securing a spot in class each week.
Recital Classes — Recital classes are tuition based classes in which you register for from September through April. Each class will perform in our Studio 22 High Tek Recital in April 2016.
Competitive Dance Teams — This program is Audition-Only and dancers are placed on teams based on age and skill level. There are five competitive teams with ages ranging from 5 to 15 years old. Teams train several days a week and compete in a variety of styles. The Youth All Star and Jr. All Star teams are our elite level teams that compete at the UDA National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, FL. Our Junior All Stars are the 2015 National Jazz Champions. The Studio 22 High Tek progam is the first and only Illinois youth competitive dance program to have a UDA National Champion Title.
Company 22 — Company 22 is an elite dance company that competes regionally and nationally. Members are hand selected based on precision, technique, and skill level. Dancers train heavily for performances in a variety of styles and perform as soloists, duets, trios, and group numbers.
History
Established in 2009.
Studio 22 opened in the Fall of 2009 in Niles, Illinois with hopes to become a place where young artists can learn and grow through creative expression. Our goal as a studio is to develop young dancers who possess discipline, a high level of technique, and passion.
We strive to be a positive influence in our dancers’ lives by continuing to grow their love for dance while teaching with a competitive edge.
Within the past 6 years, we grew our competitive All Star program from 1 team to 5 teams, also placing 3rd in the nation at our first time attending the National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, FL. This past January our Jr. All Star team won the UDA National Dance Team Championship!
Last year, we started a competitive dance Company comprised of our most elite dancers. In our first time competing, Co. 22, placed in the top ten Final Showcase for Starbound Nationals 2014.
The newest addition to our Studio 22 family is our Recital Program that is open to all ages/levels.

Jackie G.
Business Owner
Jackie is the founder of Studio 22 and the High TeK competitive dance program. Jackie has performed for various artists including Paul McCartney and Snoop Dog. With over a decade of dance experience, she has danced at several venues including: The Capital One Bowl, House of Blues, Super Bowl XXXIX and many more. Jackie is a former Chicago Luvabull for the famous Chicago Bulls. She is the Head Varsity Coach for the Maine South Hawkettes. As Varsity Coach, her teams have achieved great success at the state and national level. In 2011, for the first time in Hawkette history, the Varsity Hawkettes were crowned National Champions! Jackie currently coaches the Chicago BullsKidz dance team who practice at Studio 22. The BullsKidz are a youth dance team that perform during timeouts at the NBA Chicago Bulls games. Her passion for teaching today’s youth the art of dance is what makes her excel as Studio 22’s Director.
