Save your money and headache. This store does not know how to make rimless glasses. My rim less glass came out uneven, the left lens is 2 mm larger. Most of all, these people will not issue a refund or stand behind their workmanship and product. Run away from this place as fast as you can. Its NOT worth your time. The quality of lens are very poor and expensive.

I’ve been coming here since as long as I’ve been wearing glasses. Back then they were located on foster and Pulaski. I live in LOs Angeles yet I still come here for my glasses and contacts. The selection of frames are pretty good especially if you’re looking for high end designers. I just wish they carried Chanel! The service is great! They can usually give me my glasses the same day if I don’t get a specialized lens. The owner is really great at molding the frames to make the glasses got comfortably.

I’ve been patronizing this business for the past 20 years. The staff are always nice and accommodating. They always make sure that I’m comfortable with my contacts and eyeglasses. They even try to laugh at my corny jokes. Here’s one I’ll use on them next time I see them, «What do you call a deer with no eyes?» No eyed deer… Ha! Anyways, this is a good place to go for reasonable prices and awesome service. Try it out!

My mom went there 3 times to get her glasses fixed. This place charged her $ 700, which i strongly believe they over charged her. But my mom was getting a massive
headache. Last Tuesday, she went back to that place and the owner/​manager was being so highly rude and refused to fix it for her. My opinion to this is that it felt like he didn’t give a damn if my mom continues to get headache from it, which is really upsetting. I’m not trying to assume anything, but I’m guessing he was acting like that toward her because she can’t speak English and don’t know any better how the business industry goes. But when I called that place like few minutes ago, he denied he never said that to her and told me their office policy is, which I don’t care about. So, I’m assuming he’s twisting everything around because I spoke to him in English. Top of that, he was so unfriendly, has an attitude, and rude. If he don’t like his job, he should find another job that will suit his personality. I would never recommend this place to anyone because their service was so terrible and disrespectful. Also, I already reported to the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

Great service, friendly staff! I got my glasses here yesterday and loved the experience. I usually despise going go the doctor, but they made me feel at home yesterday. Will be going back for contacts soon!

Over the years I have received great service from these folks at acceptable prices. They have been able to accommodate any special requests I’ve made and have completed them in a timely manner.
In this age of buy everything on the internet cheaper, I cannot stress the importance of being able to try on different frames and have someone «tune» the glasses to your face and shape size. I’ve been wearing glasses for over twenty years and demand comfort and durability and My Optical has been providing exactly that for over five years now for me.
Tip: Don’t worry too much about the sticker prices. This is a family owned business so there is room for negotiation. They are also willing to help optimize your insurance dollar by providing you with the best bang for your insurance buck — something a corporate monster will never care to do.

I have been coming here since I was in elementary school when they were still at the old location on Foster/​Pulaski.
I am an adult now and still coming here for my contacts and eye glass needs at the new location in Niles. The staff is wonderful and patient. I’m not the easiest customer. The store is clean and bright. The layout is great for frame shopping. I don’t think you can better selection ofeye glass frames. They something for everyone. I wanted funky red artsy type frames and I found them. I have watched their business grow as they have seen me grow into an adult.
The reason for me writing a review now is because I called to have my contacts ready for pick up today and I was told they didn’t have them in stock at this time but can order it. Well, it’s my last pair of contacts and had them in for a while and my eyeball is starting to sting. The gal said, no worries, she had some trial ones I can use. Awesome service. As always!

I just picked up my new glasses and I love them! They had a wide assortment of frames and great collection of designer frames. And I love the prices!!! I got a great deal on mu Gucci glasses.
The service was great and professional. It was quick and easy. I’m going to have to tell my friends about this hidden gem. Thanks My Optical!
