My son is 6 and has just begun dancing here. I can’t say enough good things. Ms McNulty and Ms Shea(sic) are both wonderful women. They have the patience of a saint and do very well with the children. Not once has my son cried or not wanted to go. Quite the opposite actually. His self esteem has grown by leaps and bounds, he happily and eagerly practices daily, and he cannot wait to go back. He leaves each class energized, comes dancing out of the room, and not once have I been pressured to buy anything. I have recommended this to all of my friends. You won’t regret coming here and you’ll love watching your child grow and blossom into this energetic, confidant dancer!

Mrs. McNulte is a rude, unfriendly and cold personality that does not appear to have any affinity for young children. She directly insulted my 4 year old daughter and excluded her from participating in the introductory class for which we signed up for and paid. Which is even more ridiculous if one considers that all they do in the 30 minute class is skip around. My daughter has not learned anywhere near the skills she has acquired from other activities like ballet, soccer and gymnastics. Honestly, a waste of time, money and energy. This teacher is simply not equipped to be working with young children, she appears short tempered, fatigued, annoyed and hurried at every class. Maybe she is better with older kids, I cant speak directly to that issue, but I certainly wouldnt hold my breath. Also, her greed and«in it for the money» attitude is readily apparent.

Our daughter has been dancing with McNulty for a little over a year now. It has been an incredibly enriching experience for her, from the friends she has met, the places she has visited and the performances she has attended. The school is run by Barbara McNulty and has multiple locations across Illinois and Iowa.
