Specialties

Energy Volleyball Club is the top ranked club volleyball program with the largest dedicated USA Volleyball-sanctioned facility in the Northern Chicago Metropolitan Area. Energy VBC offers programs for both boys and girls, ages 12 – 18, with participation in both AAU and USA Volleyball.

We are committed to giving the player every opportunity including state-of-the-art surroundings. Energy Sports Complex, Energy VBC’s 62,000 sq. ft. dedicated facility, has grown with the club. Energy Sports Complex exceeds the height clearance and lighting requirements for USA Volleyball and currently houses 6 regulation courts (with room for more) and large spectator areas. There is also ample parking, a fabulous concession area with healthy choices, and a well-stocked pro shop.

History

Established in 2005.

We opened our doors in 2005, with the idea of merging our strengths as competitors, players, teachers, parents and spectators. With that in mind we have grown to be a club that builds skill, confidence, and a lasting passion for the game. This has proven to be a winning combination as Energy VBC teams are consistently a formidable competitive force and Energy VBC athletes are strongly recruited by college coaches.

We have built our coaching staff with some of the best players and teachers in Volleyball and will continue to work towards this effort. The bar is set very high for our coaching staff and they are always evaluated to keep the competitive level where it needs to be.

Energy VBC has been commended for our contribution to the sport and the player by Great Lakes Volleyball and USA Volleyball. We are committed to always keeping our level of excellence high and to continue the growth of this sport.

Meet the Business Owner

Linda S.

Business Owner

I take tremendous pride in the exceptional leadership team we have assembled that is helping me nuture, build, and grow Energy VBC® from the vision I shared with Joshua Pak for a more holistic approach to club volleyball to what is now a top ranking volleyball club program with the largest dedicated USAV-sanctioned facility in the Northern Chicago Metropolitan Area. While I have led Energy VBC’s rapid growth in size (30+ experienced coaches and 400+ student-athletes last season, plus a 62,000 sq. ft. facility) and stature, I continue to adhere to that original vision as we enter our 7th season. I will never allow our growth or ever-more-ambitious competitive goals to compromise our mission to develop the whole player, for each and every player regardless of level or ability. As a result, I am constantly looking to improve every aspect of Energy VBC’s capabilities and the Energy VBC experience.
