I began my plumbing apprenticeship in 1995. I have been a licensed plumber since 2000, when I opened this company. We have a full staff of licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians to serve both our residential and commercial clients. From water heaters to frozen water pipes to furnace replacements, we are the company that is always available to you, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with no additional fees for nights, weekends, or holidays.

terrible service. called a couple months ago to repair furnace and last night came a THIRD time as furnace needed repair yet agaiN. Was told on this THIRD visit after 1200 dollars in the hole that furnace needed repair. Was told someone from the office will call with part in am. Left my elderly parents in the cold this past night and no one called. Had to call ourselves and still refused to send someone string they had other calls (where people obviously had heat).
Still waited till 1pm when’s technician finally came to fix.
Manager on phone was terrible and still wanted to charge another 530 to fix. After being asked if he would treat his own parents like this.
Was about to call 311 for assistance. this is not only criminal but in this cold Chicago winter.INHUMANE.

I called Aqua to come and give an estimate for a broken pipe… they not only made the necessary repairs, they went above and beyond to help with our wood floor damage. Let us use their dehumidifier for a week at no charge. Their pricing was surprisingly less than I imagined. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Total pros. Joe and team were able to get my water service back up and running in a day after the main pipe out for sewage broke due to age. I was expecting it would take weeks for the repair but they were able to pull the permits and begin digging the next morning. They always kept me informed and the total cost was respectable.
I plan on using them again in the near future for an HVAC expansion.

Amazing. I have to say, from beginning to end, Aqua made the experience painless. We lost our stove a week ago and are still waiting to get the new one. Paid a lot of money and the vendor for the stove (not Aqua) cannot get it right. Needless to say we were distressed when our old heating and Ac unit went out a week later. Another big expense and during one of the coldest snaps we’ve had. First call was to Aqua where I told them my tale of woe. Everyone, and I talked to a bunch of people like Sue and Mark, was fantastic. They totally got that we were despondent. They went to great lengths to find us a unit that fit our already strained budget and, worked to get it in quickly. In fact, there was one left in the Midwest so they drove to Indianapolis to get it. Saved us a lot of money. Looked at the unit online and even with the trip we were way ahead. Steve the tech came out on his own time to measure, grab some of the old duct work for the fabricator and even popped downstairs when I mentioned my house unit was acting up. Straightened that out too. All in all, I was ready for a terrible experience and even though we spent a lot of money we weren’t ready to spend, Aqua went out of their way to be reasonable cost wise and exceptional service wise.

This guy are the best! I have used Aqua plumbing for all my plumbing and HVAC needs for the past 2 years and have to say I am always impressed with the professionalism displayed by the staff and owner. They are prompt and professional and have been able to coordinate with my tenants without me having to babysit them. They honor all their work when problems arise which are rare

I had Aqua come out to remove a kitchen sink, install new shutoff valves throughout the house and remove a concrete laundry tub and replace it. That all was fine — and they would have gotten 4 stars BUT…
I made an appointment last week for them to come back today to install the new kitchen sink, put on the kitchen faucet and hook my disposal back up and hook up the dishwasher. They get here today at 4 and the plumber says I don’t know why they sent me here at the end of the day as this is a 3 hour job. And this was all going to cost over $ 1000 —
I am not going to sit here and wait for them again. No I can’t take tomorrow morning off of work — GOODBYE AQUA!

I had these guys come out a couple of years ago for a tub clog. While there I got a quote for a toilet repair. I didn’t have the money until payday so I had them rescheduled. The next time around the original plumber took off that day although he said he would be my repairman. Lo and behold, another guy shows up and wants to charge me three times as much. Ofcourse I wanted the original quote. Even when the guy called and verified with the original plumber the original quote he still refused to give me that price. Needless to say I went else where. In all honesty I don’t remember the exact original quote today, but I believe the new quote was over $ 300. We wound up getting someone we knew (handyman) who replaced the bolts and seal. I think we gave him $ 50 total, parts in all. Took him 15 minutes.

I completely agree with the first reviewer, Nora B. This company is obviously run by thieves. TL;DR– we did not have trouble with the installation itself, but the high-​pressure sales tactics and the WAY OVERPRICED service and materials costs are terrible. DO NOT CALL THEM, even for an estimate, because they will fleece you for every penny you have.
Here’s the story: My parents’ basement flooded due to a failed sump pump. They pumped the water out of the basement and installed a new sump pump. For the installation itself, and the installer (Joey the plumber) there was no problem.
BUT later we found out that they way over-​charged us.
The furnace and water heater were damaged from the water so they quoted us on those 2 as well. But the estimates looked a little high so we decided to shop around. THANK GOD, because those estimates were 40% higher than their competitors, and they had better service. Then, they tried to talk us into installing water heater/​furnace combos for up to 2 weeks after the first service call. Unacceptable.
A few weeks later, the sump pump wasn’t pumping water so I called Aqua to take a look, and if necessary, fix their mistake. The plumber came in, waded through about 2 inches of water and pushed the breaker switch — turned out the breaker was the problem. Then he waited for the water to pump out for about 20 min.
They tried to charge me FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for this «breaker pushing» service. It was absurd. After fighting this over the phone with the owner of the company, we got it lowered to $ 179. Still overpriced, considering I had to wait an extra 4 hours just for the guy to show up.
Avoid at all costs.

This company is a scam operation. We sent them to a condo and they charged us $ 682.60 for two service calls. One of the times no one was home to let them in and they still charged $ 341.30 just to show up and the next time they didn’t do anything but provide an estimate.
The estimate was outrageous, $ 798.50 for labor only to replace a small water softener. At 5 hours that is $ 159.70 per hour for labor. We declined to move forward and negotiated the bill to $ 341.30 for one service call since the tech didn’t even enter the property the other time.
We mailed a check and it was returned as they moved and a lien was put on the property. We’re working it out through court right now but don’t waste your time with these ripoff artists.
Also, James De Meo who is the «Vice President» is rude and unprofessional, not a good person to deal with.
