Everything about this winery is secretive. Their website basically has no contact information. I only know that it is nearby Skywalker Ranch which lies in Nicasio, in Marin County. I tried the Viandante Del Cielo(Italian: Skywalker) Pinot Noir at Dixie in the Presidio. I do know that their wine maker Scott McLeod is also the wine maker for COppola. Guess he’s big with the DIrector circles. Now I was never a huge fan of Coppola wines and Im going to have to say the same for the Lucas one. Pinot is decent but I’d have to say a bit thin and acidic. Much better with food than solo. I’ve heard the higher level Skywalker Pinot(twice the price) was good. But as someone who’d never tried the wine before I wasn’t willing to go all in on something that was unknown. Perhaps next time a take the leap and try the«better» one.
