History
Established in 1902.
Ring’s End was founded in 1902 in Darien, Connecticut. It got its unique name from the area where it was first located, «Ring’s End Landing». Originally, Ring’s End supplied the surrounding area with coal, grain, hay, feed, and flour. By 1955, Ring’s End transitioned its business to supplying building materials. Over the next fifty years, Ring’s End experienced tremendous growth and eventually merged with Niantic Lumber in Niantic, Connecticut in 1998. Ring’s End of Niantic, Connecticut has a Kitchen & Bath Showroom, Lumberyard, Millwork Showroom, and Paint Center. Today, Ring’s End is one of Connecticut’s most prominent retail building supply companies with a reputation for premium quality and service. Ring’s End is also one of the largest Benjamin Moore dealers in the country. Ring’s End is a family owned and operated company.
