I eloped to Niagara Falls, and I never imagined I could get such a beautiful and perfect bouquet in such short notice. I simply described what I wanted over the phone and Piccirillo’s had my dream bouquet ready the next day! Also, the shop is very nice and so are the people! Highly recommended :)

My elderly aunt had been hospitalized briefly, then moved to rehab at Schoellkopf to gain strength before being sent home. Because I live out of state, I couldn’t visit, and wanted to send flowers to brighten her room. After asking several local friends on Facebook which florist they’d recommend, the almost unanimous response was Piccirillo’s.
I liked being able to see the arrangements on their website, but was initially a little disappointed that I couldn’t just order online; I had to call the shop. This immediately turned into a plus, as the woman with whom I spoke (Katie?) was very helpful, assisting me in choosing just the right arrangement without trying to upsell me.
The flowers were reasonably priced and delivered when promised. I’ve dealt with some florists who, knowing that I was out of town and would never see the actual flowers I sent, delivered a skimpy or substandard arrangement. Not this time! My sister, who lives locally, took a picture of the arrangement and it might have been even nicer than what was pictured online.
I couldn’t have asked for anything better: a beautiful floral arrangement, great service, and good prices. Not to mention, I got to support a local business in my hometown rather than some huge corporation. Whenever I need to send flowers to someone in the Falls in the future, I’ll be ordering them from Piccirillo’s.

I had almost forgotten to send a gift to my mom on her birthday when I realized I could have flowers sent that day! I’m so glad I called this particular florist because the bouquet they created was absolutely perfect, even though I barely gave a description at all of what I wanted and told them I trusted their judgement. I was right to! The bouquet was gorgeous, and it was delivered early in the afternoon to my surprised and grateful mom. I’ll definitely do business with these folks again when I need to send flowers to someone in my hometown.

As in any field involving creativity there are those who practice the art and those who are the art. Al Piccirillo, owner and operator of Piccirillo’s Florist is clearly the latter. Being born and raised in Niagara Falls, I can state with conviction that it was generally known among the locals that Al Piccirillo was the creative mastermind behind the recently closed, and very successful Celenza Florist. After the death of the long time store owner, Al Piccirillo spread his wings and opened his own business, much to the delight of those in the know. The pieces created by Al Piccirillo are masterpieces of the floral variety, and I do not use that word lightly. I have never considered myself a connoisseur of Floral arrangements, but being an aesthete one can instantly tell that his works are created with love and a skilled eye for balance. Over the years (being constantly in trouble with those I am romantically involved with) I have utilized his services a myriad of times, and he has never failed to arise to any occasion. Pick a theme, a color, a favorite flower and he will create a piece that will far surpass your expectations. In high school he created the flowers for the dates of my friends and myself. While most girls at the prom wore simple flowers surrounded by baby’s breath (the refuge of the weak in the floral world), our dates had ornate wrist pieces, perfectly matched to their dresses with dangling rosettes. Go to any funeral in Niagara Falls, and the Piccirillo flowers will always stand out among the more banal varieties in the room. My mother loves Hawaiian-​style arrangements and Piccirillo never fails to deliver on-​time with fresh and wonderful smelling anthuriums, birds of paradise and beautiful Ginger.
With my loved ones there is only one florist I trust to deliver with the skill and acuity that I desire and that man is clearly Al Piccirillo.
