I visit my family in WNY pretty regularly, and this is definitely the best(and cleanest) large nail salon in the area. I stopped in today for a mani/pedi, and the salon was extremely neat and quiet. The technicians did a thorough job and my manicure included an awesome paraffin wax treatment. My nails look great and my hands are super soft! After some pretty horrific experiences at other nail salons, I pay very close attention to the cleanliness of nail salons and the quality of their products. Lotus offered nice polish choices and I saw staff utilizing gloves and sanitizers correctly. At Lotus, the staff also removed my gel polish properly using wraps(other local salons will make you dump your hands in a pool of acetone, which is awful). Prices are reasonable and the technicians were friendly. If you’re looking for a quality nail salon in Niagara Falls, visit Lotus Nails & Spa.

These people are slow to start the service requested, even with an appointment. My pedicure was MAYBE8 minutes long and not worth the money spent. The guy that did my refill had to replace one nail because it was broken and he screwed it up and when I asked him to fix it, he got huffy, threw the nail file on the table at me, and was rude and condescending the rest of the time. One of the worst I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few. Don’t let the stars fool you, this place is horrible.

Staff is so friendly and great at their jobs. I highly recommend! Beautiful, serene, and so clean. A little pricey but worth it. I highly recommend!

This place is the absolute best bang for your buck when it comes to manis and pedis. Although they can get very busy they have always taken their time and done a quality job. Be aware they do not take credit cards though thankfully someone had asked before I sat down so I was able to run to the ATM at wegmans before it became an issue. Other than that issue be prepared to sit down and enjoy

Tried this place for the first time because of the Unilocal reviews. got a pedicure on a Tuesday. There were a few people in so had to wait a few minutes. The place is clean and well kept. the pedicures cost $ 25 and they don’t accept credit cards. the pedicure was nice with a decent massage. The woman didn’t introduced herself so can’t recommend her. I find that pedicures in the Buffalo/Niagara area are not all that great and tend to be expensive. Lotus nails is better than most and about the same price. Too bad they don’t accept credit cards.

I decided to start getting my nails done again after a 1 — 2 year hiatus, but because of my VERY specific needs, I approached where to go very carefully. After noting that Lotus Spa has better reviews than pretty much anywhere else, I called and made an appointment. Just to clarify the«specific needs» thing: I’m in a wheelchair(have been since I was a child) and because of the wear and tear my hands get, the meds I’m on, and some of the other medical issues I have, I can’t grow my nails out naturally. They tear and chip within an hour or so after painting them unless I get sculpted acrylic to reinforce them. Even then, I need the acrylic applied MUCH thicker than most people get(because my wheelchair will destroy them otherwise) and(somewhat understandably) most nail techs don’t want to do it. Before the hiatus I spent 10 years straight getting my nails done, and during that time, I figured out what does and does not work for my lifestyle, what lengths work, and what methods do and don’t hurt. I also discovered that 99.9% of nail techs do NOT want to do it the way I need.(I totally understand that they ARE artists, and as such, don’t want their work to look«unnatural,» «sloppy,» or «amateurish.» In my case, I’m not going for the«natural-look» — I’m going for Girly Nail Armour.) First of all, Lotus Nail and Spa is VERY wheelchair-accessible! I had NO problems getting in, getting my nails done, or browsing all the shades of nail polish available. In fact, even the pedicure chairs are disability-friendly…I’m looking forward to going back and getting the first independent pedi OFMYLIFE!(I’ve always needed to be physically picked up and placed into the pedi chairs before. Totally depressing.) Anyway, I got a full set with permanent white tips, nice crisp, clear acrylic, great conversation, and a renewed feeling of confidence. My nail tech was a WONDERFUL young lady who really knew her craft, and unlike so many before her, was completely fantastic about sculpting me a set of thick, strong nails. While 99.9% before her were uncooperative and grumpy about fulfilling my request, she’s definitely at the TOP of that other 0.1%! Halfway through the first hand, I had already decided to become a regular customer. She even checked in with me to see if they were thick enough!!! No one has EVER done that! For those who like a warm, welcoming environment, this place is totally for you. I had brought my iPad and headphones, but I honestly never needed them. Everyone was having a good time, talking, and joking around. Within minutes of rolling through the door, I had joined in the store-wide conversation, and my assistant who was with me even got a list of movie titles from one of the guys who works there. He probably dreaded dragging along with his boss to a nail place, but he was just as welcomed. The ONLY drawback is that there is no WiFi there, so if you’re like me and NEED to stay connected for work and business, be prepared. I had planned on getting some work done while I waited, but that didn’t happen. All in all, here’s my summary: Accessibility: * * * * * Friendliness: * * * * * Wait Time: * * * *(I took off 1 star for no WiFi while waiting) Quality: * * * * * Cleanliness: * * * * * I can’t wait to go back!!! *^_^*

I was looking for a salon in the area with Good reviews and this was one of the only salons that even had any. Since its close I decided to give it a try. I have gel nails(gel powder not shellac) and they were torn up from working hard over the last 2 weeks & needed done tlc. I was pleased to walk in and find a clean place where everyone spoke English. It’s uncomfortable to go places where people are constantly speaking another language in front of you as though you aren’t there. This was not the case here. So she gave me a fill and shaped them exactly how I asked. It cost $ 20 and I gave her $ 5 for a job very well done. I now have a go to salon when I visit my mom.

They were friendly enough here but I was unhappy with the way they conducted their business. I didn’t like their methodology and didn’t understand the pace of it. One person would work on my nails then someone else would rotate and I didn’t know what was going on. My Acrylic full turned out nice but it took over an hour and me feeling like a hot potato(With pink spahkly nails!) ;) Might give it another shot bc it’s close to my new residence but will be looking for other salons.

Went here with a girlfriend who lives in the area. I got a regular manicure + pedicure for 35 bucks. We went around 1230 on a Sunday and the place had just emptied! Yays! It was so quiet and peaceful in there. We started with pedicures. I’ve never had one before and it was relaxing without being too ticklish or aggressive. Then I got my manicure by the same technician. I could tell she was a talkative person but I like to just sit. After a few attempts at trying to talk to me I think she got the hint LOL. She did a really nice job. Overall: I really appreciated how even though this place did get busy after we got there, they didn’t rush our services along like most places would. They still gave us our time and didn’t skimp on any of the steps. I also liked how the tech asked if I liked the shape and the outcome of each process before she moved on to the next step. How awesome! I also liked how the place was clean, unpretentious and had Pandora on the speakers. I would definitely come back here for a full set or gel nails. Looking at the other ladies’ nails, this place is the place to go. Too bad its sooo far from my house! If I could afford it, I’d come out here every time to get my nails done!
