Kmart

Okay now that I am no longer an employee here I can finally speak some things I want to say. Ok first off the place is nice and clean except the public bathrooms. Customers you all can be so rude and inconsiderate to the cashiers, we are cashiers not floor sales or managers why so you all blame us and take it out on is? Everything is not priced correctly you have to keep your eyes on the prices when you are cashing out and we just go by the computer cause again were cashiers not floor people who know the prices. Managers take forever if you need something and it takes forever for a price check again not the cashiers fault. The Shop your way points are a blessing and a curse, you need to read the fine print of them and surprise bonus points are sometimes not loaded onto the computer yet you have to call the shop your way company which is not Kmart. Again not the cashiers fault, you customers do not understand the struggle we have or had there are hours has been cut dramatically there and were trying to help you but some of you are just darn right rude. Okay last thing the clothes are the best buy there though there cheap but good. Shoes don’t last that long in my opinion and everything else is just over priced.

It’s so sad that company’s let their stores be ran like this one I refuse to shop I only do pickups because they do give shopper rewards many times I have purchased things next to nothing because of surprise point and coupons. I went it to pick up and order Walked to the service counter said i had a pickup she said go to any register. I looks at the registers that all had 5 – 7 people waiting i looked at her and said I always picks up here she said ya you can??? So she asks for id but because the last names didn’t match (married name) she wouldn’t give me the product which I have never had a problem before I told her that she yelled at me saying she can’t do it so rude basically not wanting to do her job. I left and cancelled the order. I have never gone into this store with having them not find my order, the email says its ready but the store did not have it ready them loosing my items in the shuffle or an extremely long wait. I have yet to be back since then and order only online and ship.

Waited in the electronic section for about 30 minutes with not so much of a glance of a sales associate. Please up your service in electronics, please. So don’t wonder why people are returning TV’s and tablets. Commission might help.

This is the worst place to shop! The main reason being it always takes forever to get through the checkout lines. Even on a slow Monday night, with not a lot of customers, the cashiers move in slow motion. I stood in line behind one woman at the checkout lane, and she was having some sort of problem; so I went looking for another lane. I stood in that line and it was moving slow. So then I skipped over to a third line when it became available, while the first line I was in still had the same lady standing there. The cashier told me I had points, but after checkout I looked at my receipt and saw that she didn’t apply them. I asked her why she didn’t apply my discount points and she said that «you didn’t ask, but they don’t expire until December.» II was so mad that I didn’t bother to go back to customer service to get my discount. So she tells me I have points and assumes that I don’t want to use them and maybe just rush back before they expire? She says its MY Responsibility to ask? How about showing some good customer service and asking me!!!

I actually don’t mind this store at all.
If you don’t mind paying a bit more than Walmart down the road, yet would like to be in a less congested and quick-in&out environment come to this Kmart store.
Overall, the store is extremely clean, organized, large, well stocked and doesn’t have long checkout lines (like the Walmart down the road).
Plus, sometimes the sales in a specific department are great, and if you have Shop Your Way for Sears and Kmart it can sometimes save you a TON. They also normally print you some coupons with your receipt for next time, and every purchase you make you earn points which you can later redeem at Kmart or Sears.
Overall, if I lived in the New York area, this WOULD be MY Kmart store, yet since I live in Massachusetts I’ll stick with my old, not as pleasant locations.

This is the only store that could possibly be worse than Walmart. I would definitely rather shop in Walmart than here, and that isn’t saying much. This store has so many fundamental issues I can’t even begin to talk about them, and I have no idea how they are still open. I have completely stopped shopping at this store and Kmart in general.
No free Wi-​Fi.
First of all no items ring up at the correct price, in the store. I haven’t seen one that has in ages. Even regular price items. If you come in for an item in the Sunday ad, it either won’t be in stock, or it will not ring up at the sale price. This is not a problem at any other store I have been in, in the last 10 years, not even walmart. I haven’t had a price error in any local store in a long time, besides this one. The attorney general should investigate this store, because their pricing is not legit in any way. Items in the Sunday ad are never in stock, just don’t bother, because they won’t have your item.
While Walmart is expensive, the prices do match the shelf tags. The ads and the prices are legit and I don’t find expired food in the store. Items that are advertised are in the store unless its a super hot selling item which doesn’t happen often. This store is even more expensive than both Walmart and Target. This store is probably more expensive than Walgrees and Rite-​aid. Some items are more than double the price of Walmart’s and Target. Quality of items and customer service do not match the prices either.
Expired food is also a big problem at this store, just don’t buy food at this store, you really don’t want to.
I have gone here on Sunday many times, and there is always only one checkout open, why one checkout on Sunday when the ad just came out, I have no idea. Sometimes there are no cashiers at the register at all and you have to check out at the service desk, at which point the employees look surprised because you actually want to buy something, I don’t blame them.
It is a total waste of my time to shop at this store, never again.

This place is just awful. Items cost much more then Target and Walmart. Lines at checkout are always long. 1 out of 3 items rings up the wrong price and the cashier has to call for a price check. The price check takes forever. They run out of their sale items or never even had them in stock to start with. They never pick up their carts and they hit cars in the parking lot. The store is also just all around dirty. Drive down the road to Walmart or Target you’ll find better deals!

Go here every so often for shopping. Walmart is cheaper, I’m not sure how Kmart is still open. The ladies washroom at this location is absolutely disgusting. My sister warned me but I had to go. The second I walked in I noticed that there was a puddle of water on the floor in the accessible stall. Neither of the 2 stalls had toilet paper. I walked right out. Ended up waiting til we went to Walmart.

No matter which Kmart store I go to it is always the same thing. The only reason I go there in person is because it is the only «discount» chain store that has a «Big and Tall» clothing section. I get better customer service at their online store since there are no living individuals that you have to interact with.
I know that it is just not me but every time I go there and get done shopping there is usually 8 — 10 people waiting to check out and you are lucky if 2 registers are open. Funny thing is if you look at the customer service counter there are on average 3 people standing around not to mention the couple of employees out side smoking. Trying to get someone from the customer service desk to check you out is usually met with the response that there are registers open.
I have been known to leave my cart full of clothes at the customer service desk and just walk out. You would think that they would get the message.
The only reason I shop there is that I need pants with a 42 inch waist and a 32 inch inseam. Other stores only carry inseam sizes of 29 and 30 inches. Everyone in Niagara Falls is not fat and short so I do not know why other stores do not carry longer length pants in the store but only online.
