We are amazed. We expected the usual need for at least 3 return visits we have had to do with another company in the past, to wipe out the perpetual small ants we’ve had since Spring. After one treatment we haven’t seen a single ant in 4 weeks. Thank you Dave Bilyk!

Overall, they seem like good people but unfortunately they will not fix your problem– after spending hundreds of dollars and having them come out several times, we still have silverfish. If they were aware of being unsuccessful with eliminating this type of pest, they should not have agreed to. Very disappointed and wish I could have my money back at this point.

After reading the reviews, I thought Dave was the perfect person to solve our squirrel problem. He caught two babies inside our house. Then, he set up traps outside to catch the mother. I called as soon as a squirrel was in the trap. Dave never came to take the squirrel and release it away from the house. Instead the squirrel died in the trap. As you can imagine, I am not a happy client and would not recommend his services.

I’ve used Dave several times. He helped to get rid of my autumn mouse problem. He is passionate about his job, educates the customer on the process and what to expect. He also came out on one days notice when i had to get a termite inspection for my mortgage refinance. Good guy, friendly, prompt (shows up when he says he will) and reasonable cost when I checked around with several companies.

We had a mouse problem and used Dave Bilyk Exterminators in November. He came over and set a variety of traps (standard, t-​rex, glue) and meticulously sealed off areas with a foam gun where mice could potentially get into the house. Within two days, we had caught the mouse. Dave came back fro another thorough inspection. We have been pest free for three months now.

Amazing service! I moved into an older house a month ago that unfortunately had fleas inhabiting it (a former tenant left an infested mattress+box spring, and there was a cat…) and they spread upstairs to my bedroom, and seemed to ONLY be in my bedroom. I had never previously called an exterminator before, and I was literally going CRAZY from the fleas!
Not only did Dave explain everything they were going to do over the phone with me when I scheduled my appointment, but I have contacted him (and the technician that came to my place) several separate times since then with different minor questions, etc. (it was my first time with a bug problem, I wasn’t sure what to do/​expect– haha) and they were extremely helpful.
I haven’t had a single problem since then! They are very flexible with scheduling and times, and the service is also very reasonably priced; my landlord would not pay for the services, and none of my other roommates were experiencing a problem, so I was in this on my own, and it was VERY reasonable. I will definitely be calling back if I ever have any other pest problems. I highly recommend them!

You don’t get better than Dave. I was weeding one day and got bit by a bee and then stung by another. His price was fair and he came and retreated after the rain washed the treatment away and the bees came back. He was professional and I couldn’t be happier that those bees are gone!

Ok, so no one ever want to admit when they have to call an exterminator… But after one no show and learning that sprays aren’t effective for roaches and that’s what a lot of companies use, I thought «I NEED to leave some feedback for Dave Bilyk Exterminators!»
After a late night call to Dave last night, and the horrific nightmares of roach attacks that followed, I was desperate to get someone here today, so I followed up with him this morning. Dave returned my call in less than an hour and had a technician to my house 45 minutes later. By lunch time everything was taken care of…
I also have two cats that I was concerned might get into poisons and sprays and I’m so happy that the technician kept everything so neat and tidy. I’ve been so thrilled by his service I had to write a review today (all the positive reviews on Unilocal are why I called him in the first place) We’ll see how the results turn out, but I am VERY pleased to this point… 5 stars, Dave. Thank you!

I hate bugs. HATE. And, I have nightmares that they are invading my home. So, when ants did start invading our second floor, I called Dave. He took great care of my ant problem, and there was enough bait that when a new set of jerky ants came in, they were soon gone too. Dave is a smart guy who educates his customers, so I remembered that he told me the suckers would be back in couple weeks but to let them take the bait too. No more ants. At all. I love it. I’ll be doing a whole season contract next spring!

Last week, I found seven mice in my apartment. Although my cat was truly enjoying his new-​found role as rodent assassin, it was time to call in a professional. Dave Bilyk to the rescue. He took the time to answer all my questions over the phone and explain their approach. While most companies use poisons, DBE focuses on blocking entrances that mice or other pests may be using. They also set glue traps as opposed to the snapping metal ones. This really put me at ease because I was concerned that treating the rodent issue would inadvertently hurt my feline friend. I imagine that this would be a better approach for anyone who has small children, as well. They are based out in the suburbs, but they had no problem coming into Center City to help me. They showed up on time for the appointment and they will be back two more times as part of their service. These guys are great and I highly recommend them. Thanks, DBE!

I took a chance on this guy due to the one great review. It’s really surprising how many exterminators have no reviews on Unilocal or anywhere else. I’m getting a treatment done for a rather large infestation of flying ants right now (I think there is a colony in my bedroom wall). I put through a request on his website this morning and he gave me a call within the hour to come by today. I was at work so I did not have the pleasure of meeting him, but my Dad was at home and said that he is very nice and professional. He quickly identified the problem (I feared that it was termites) and gave us a reasonable rate and said he would come back in two weeks if his treatment didn’t work. Thank you Dave!

We had a major infestation of bugs (silverfish) in our attic/​bathroom. It took a few months, as one would expect, but thanks to Dave’s aggressive service, we are *ALMOST* free of these horrible things!
I’m a bit leery when it comes to service people coming through our home, but Dave is very professional and trustworthy.
His rates are very reasonable and he guarantees his work.
