History

Established in 1945.

When Jim Beirne, with sale signs, integrity & dedication in hand, opened Aron-​Drex Realty in 1945, he surely didn’t know he was creating a long standing real estate tradition. In 1989, Jim established the 1^st RE/​MAX office in the area, RE/​MAX Aron-​Drex. In 1994 he passed the torch on to his son, Dan & partners, Mike D’Adamo & Mike Santoleri. Continuing the standards & impeccable reputation that Jim Beirne had achieved, the new partners changed the name to RE/​MAX Preferred & moved to Newtown Square, to geographically locate itself in such a manner as to allow our agents to service Delaware, Chester & Montgomery Counties & making it more convenient for our Delaware & New Jersey licensees to access those states. While Dan moved on to other areas of the industry, Mike & Mike have carried on the tradition. Since then, the office has grown from 9 agents in 1994 to 71 agents & 2 locations in 2008. We continue this success by associating with the best & most productive agents in the business.
