I go to Lindsay G. at Prive. She is the best at doing the Bayalage color technique to my hair! She’s so patient with putting up with me and my many different changes I want done! Also– the salon is so clean and beautifully decorated. The shampoo chairs have a massaging feature which is amazing. It’s so relaxing in there. I’m always looking forward to going to my appointments. If you are looking for a new place to get your hair done– this is the place to go!

I have gotten my hair cut by at least 5 different stylists, and they are all equality great. I have been happy with my hair each time I walk out of Prive. I also needed a blow out once for a wedding, and it was seriously the fastest — and best — one I’ve ever had. Awesome salon!

Prive Salon and Style Bar is the place to be. Monica and Heather have done an amazing job creating a relaxed and beautiful environment for all of their clients. I look forward to every appointment! My stylist’s name is Lindsay, and she is amazing. Whether I come in with an idea, or need some input on a new-​do, Lindsay always makes sure I walk out feeling great. The same can be said for all of the stylists at Prive! I also love that this salon consistently invests in educating their staff on all of the industry’s latest trends. Rest assured, walking into Prive you are in great hands. Could not be happier with their level of customer service and talent!

The salon itself is beautiful. The massage chairs and mimosas are enough to have me coming back for more!
The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I explained my needs over the phone and the receptionist set me up with Aliscia.
I am always nervous for people to cut my hair because I have long hair with a lot of layers and angles. Some hairdressers get a little scissor happy and I end up with 5 inches off the end. Aliscia gave me the style I love without cutting inches off of my hair. This was one of the best haircuts I have ever (My color looks awesome too).
Can’t say enough about this place. I would highly recommended getting your hair done here and if you’re looking for a hairdresser that listens to your needs and can deliver the results you want I highly recommend Aliscia.

Have you experienced Prive? If not, do so soon! From the minute you walk through the salon doors, you will be greeted by friendly front desk staff, as well as talented stylists. Monica and Heather did a brilliant job staffing first class stylists, putting together luxurious décor, and try the massage chairs, they are to die for. All stylists are experienced, but Zoe «gets me.» Zoe takes the time to discuss the color and style best suited for me. She is meticulous! When I leave, I know I will feel good about myself as well as have the best style suited just for me! So don’t wait… experience Prive today.

Let me start of by saying how great this place is. Monica and Heather did a fantastic job with this place. Every time I walk through the door I feel like I stepped into an oasis. All the girls at Prive are amazing, but I usually got to Lindsay. I never know what I want to do with my hair, but she always knows exactly what to do. Her dedication and work ethic really show in what she does. She makes you feel like the only person in the room when you are there. I have never gotten up from Lindsay’s chair and not liked what she had done. Go see Lindsay or one of the many other talented ladies at Prive, I promise you won’t be let down!!!

Fantastic salon! Dayna has cut and colored my hair, she is amazing! It’s taken me 4years to find a stylist that ‘gets it’…Finally! The entire staff at Privee salon is professional and very personable. So happy!

Not really a review of this place bc the receptionist gave such a terrible impression that I decided not to schedule the appointment.
I told the receptionist I had virgin Asian hair. Wanted it lightened to light ash brown. She had to put me on hold to ask a stylist what virgin hair was. Then she booked me a 30 min — 1 hour appointment. Hah! That’s not enough time for even a single process for the amount of lightening I wanted. When I pointed this out to her, she gave me an attitude and said I was asking for a really long appointment. Like, duh, that’s what I was trying to communicate to you. I found it rude she sounded annoyed that I wanted a long appointment. I was trying to be respectful of the stylist’s time by booking the correct amount of time for my appointment.
I have no confidence in a salon that has a receptionist that has no understanding of hair coloring processes. And one that’s rude.
Two thumbs down. Disappointed bc I had high hopes for this place!

Monica, Zoe, and their team did a wonderful job making me and my girls look beautiful on my wedding day. We all felt amazing when they were done, and we had a blast with them the morning of. They fit right in with our group, and we were all so happy with the end result. Our hair and makeup lasted until the very end, and I would happily recommend these girls to anyone. I went back in for a cut and color after the wedding, and had Aliscia. She was awesome too! There’s truly not a bad person to see in the entire salon. They also have these great massage chairs you sit in while they shampoo you, which just adds to the relaxing environment. You will not regret going to this salon.

This is the BEST salon in the area! All of the stylists down to the receptionists are extremely polite and personable. I’ve been going there since it opened and couldn’t have been more pleased. They even offer you a glass of wine – what other salons do that?!? None! I love it at Privè. It’s SOOO clean and decorated like no other salon out there. The owners are so down to earth and make you feel at home, and the prices are reasonable and you get such great service. I’ll never go anywhere else but Privè!!!

Very impressed with my overall experience at Prive Salon and Style Bar. Great atmosphere and must importantly, knowledgeable and talented hairdressers. I went in with a picture and my colorist, Bree, planned and explained to me how she was going to achieve my desired look! Danielle finished my experience off with an amazing cut and I could not be happier!

Had a great blowout today with Zoe. They fit me in last minute which was so helpful. Beautiful clean salon, and my hair was brought back to life. Even now the next morning my hair still looks great. I’ll definitely be back to try out other services, like the keratin treatment. Thanks again !

Fantastic salon! So pleased to have a quality place in Newtown Square. The staff are incredibly friendly and the décor was stunning. I have had two different stylists now (last minute appointments) and both were great. Highly recommend!

I have been on the prowl for a new stylist for over a year now, and I think I have found one in Jen at Prive! I drove past the salon a few times and it looked beautiful, so I researched their Instagram and saw a lot of amazing cuts and color! So I called to book an appointment, and was told that Jen is great with long hair.
I showed up a little early, so after waiting a bit Jen came to get me and gave me an awesome consultation, during which I told her my hair looks awful with straight/​blunt cuts. She told me she knew exactly how to proceed so I was off to be shampoo’d. The cut she game me is perfect! It obviously was beautiful how she styled it, but it also looks great with my less than professional efforts.
I immediately rebooked for another cut and for color in a few months. SO EXCITED!

They knocked it out of the park when they opened this Salon. Great stylists, high class environment. Getting your hair done at Prive you feel like you’ve escaped to South Beach for some pampering. Can’t wait for my next appointment.

I’ve been trying to find a place to get my hair done for a while, but I never could find a salon that was not only welcoming, but also helpful & good at what they do! Once I walked into Privé, I knew I had found my place. From the sleek & sophisticated decorating to the smiling faces when you open the door, Privé doesn’t disappoint. They took my coat and offered me a refreshment, and I waited to be called back. Now the real test: would they get my hair cut & color right?
Breana approached me with a warm welcome and started my color process. She was very friendly and got my color PERFECT. Trust me, getting red right on a brunette is not an easy task! I’ve had quite a few mishaps with other salons! Not to mention, she provided me with a list of products to keep my color from fading (the biggest struggle with going red), and where I could locally find them at the best price. Could it get any better?
Danielle sat me down in her chair, pleasantly asking what direction I’d like to go with my cut. With very little direction, she gave me the exact angles & layering I was hoping for without being able to put them into words. I couldn’t be happier!
I’m due for another hair appointment in about a month, and it would be crazy for me to consider going anywhere other than Privé!

Prive is AMAZING!!! Let me start by saying that the ambiance is so chic and classy– you feel like you are getting the royal treatment (and you are!). LOVE the look! I was referred by a friend to Dayna Castelli, and I could not be more impressed. I have really thick and coarse hair which can be difficult to style, so when I needed it curled for a wedding I knew I needed a professional. Dayna did an amazing job! I got so many compliments on my hair all night. I didn’t even know it was possible for it to have such a natural looking curl!
In addition to being an awesome stylist, she’s also a great listener and gave me lots of advice on how to style it on my own, what products to use, etc. She really knows her stuff! So happy that my friend made this recommendation.
I look forward to my next appointment!

In the past month Prive has been open, I have already been to Dayna Castelli twice. The salon itself is gorgeous; very chic and professional. I am so happy a blowout bar is finally in the suburbs. My first appointment with Dayna was for a cut and color and I was very impressed; it might have been the best cut I have ever had! She is easy to talk to and a genius with color. I felt amazing when I left and the results are holding up. I was so impressed I decided to go back for a blowout for a party my husband and I were attending through his work. I cannot put into words how great my hair looked. I was so happy and it looked incredible. It lasted several days and I have fine hair that gets greasy easily, so I was extra impressed and found it to be well worth the money. I highly recommend Prive and Dayna! I’m her client for life now!

I couldn’t be more excited to write this review. First, the location is awesome. Easy to get to right off the highway, tons of parking and better yet, right next to a Starbucks!
The salon is beautiful. There is such an understated elegance to the overall look and feel. The lighting and chandeliers are so classy, the make up bar is adorable, and to top it all off, each station feels like it’s own little world since there are floor to ceiling sheer curtains that make you feel like you’re having your own private beauty session. The beauty of the salon is followed by a close second to the employees. I was greeted so pleasantly by the women at the front, and I had little to no wait before Monica was available to take me. I’ve never not had to wait at a salon before!
Seriously, a delco gem. I have an appt tomorrow afternoon for a blow out so I can be ready for my and my hubby’s date night!
