Another pay by weight froyo place in Boston area. The froyo texture is average; not as good as Berryline, Pinkberry, but on par with Froyoworld/​Orange Flavor.
Plus point for the beach design and the myriad of toppings (colored mochi!). Since it’s in Newton, customers tend to sway toward teenage crowd.

We went there today with my two kids and had a wonderful experience. I loved my chocolate custard yoghurt. Both kids were offered a small taste of 1 – 2 yogurts. They ended up with watermelon sherbet and love it. It was very clean. Lots of flavors and toppings. I love that it’s a family run business and about 4 minutes drive from our home. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to make up an excuse to go back there again!

Unexpectedly vast assortment of frozen yogurts with a topping bar so plentiful it is reminiscent of a candy store, plus a fresh fruit bar, sauces galore, and even unexpected treats such as mochi bites and bobas. A family favorite for a reason!

This place could easily be five star if they changed their yogurt recipe. It’s way too tart even for yogurt. The vanilla tastes like lemon sherbert.

Upon walking in, a friendly staff member offered to show me around, giving me a tour of all the flavors and vast array of toppings. The store was pristine, and the toppings looked fresh and well prepared. The yogurt was delicious, and there was a nice selection of flavors and low fat and non fat options. They even had frozen custard! I can’t wait to come back. Bonus: they are near Horace Mann elementary school, so there is a close playground for my kid to run off her sugar high.

What I love most about Yogurt Beach? It being less than 100 steps from my front door. With that being said, the staff is always delightful, the store is always very clean and the fro-​yo is delicious. Can’t beat the price, either! Or the amount of add-on’s to choose from…
