Established in 1988.
Located in stunning northwest New Jersey, the «Garden» of the «Garden State,» Tri-State Actors Theater has reached an audience of thousands through the years, presenting the highest level productions in our region.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Meacham as Ranger Repertory Summer Theater, and renamed Tri-State Actors Theater, began as a theater that specialized in training young performers and presenting plays for children and families. It evolved into a full-fledged regional professional theatre company b y 1998. Tri-State’s accomplishments have been born out of its staff and artists’ long experience, dedication to its goals, and constant attention to the details of craftsmanship, needs of its artists, and awareness of its place in the community of the tri-state region.
Meet the Business Owner
Paul M.
Business Owner
Paul Meacham, Artistic Director, founded Tri-State Actors Theater in 1988. He has guided many Tri-State productions including Proof, Greater Tuna, Rounding Third, A Streetcar Named Desire, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Weir. He reprises his role as Scrooge and directs the holiday production of A Christmas Carol every season. He has staged many children’s musicals, including Winnie The Pooh, Charlotte’s Web, The Wind in The Willows and The Fantastic Return of the Fabulous Fable Factory. He has acted professionally in New York and in regional theaters around the country. He is a member of Actors Equity Association, AFTRA, and Screen Actors Guild.
