This is just about the best place around if you want healthy, happy plants. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. It is relaxing just to walk around and take in their huge inventory — they have an incredible selection of perennials, annuals, herbs — whatever you’re looking for. So lucky to have it close by! Everything I buy here does extremely well. As I write this it’s June and my pointsettia from Newton Greenhouse is still blooming on my windowsill!

Merrimac, MA
This place is a hidden gem. I happen to live right down the street from it, otherwise, I don’t think I’d ever know it existed! They have a good selection of annuals and perinnials and several greenhouses to tour. In the summer there is a good display of vegetable plants as well. What I keep coming back for is their hanging baskets! They are wonderful, full, healthy and priced competitively.
If you’re looking for something other than the big box store garden center, add this place to your list.
