I thought the Nespresso Boutique was in it’s own secluded space in Bloomingdale’s — so I was surprised it was just in the middle of the store. The salesman was very helpful — and made us a caramel coffee to try out. Overall, it’s convenient to drop off your recyclable pods and pickup coffee without paying shipping. We’ll be back, now that we know what to expect.

I have become a big fan of Nespresso! Thanks to Ms. Nieves. Ruby Nieves, the Boutique Assistant Manager, took the time to explain (in English and or Spanish) the latest coffee flavors, how to better use my Nespresso coffee maker, and always gives me good ideas to make my coffee drinking experience better. For example, the Nespresso glass coffee cups that come with those cool spoons were a hit with my wife and I. When I’m in the Mall I must visit the Nespresso Boutique to buy something there. Having had coffee in Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and many islands here and in Greece I must say my Nespresso (Coffeemaker of the Gods) is «maravilloso!» Muchiciamas gracias Ruby!

Although I feel a bit guilty for the eco-​impact, I love the flavor of Nespresso coffee as much as the convenience. And although ordering capsules online should be easy, because Nespresso is a European company, of course it isn’t. (Terrible login, bad user experience, poor design, etc…) I prefer to pick them up when I’m shopping — and drop off my used capsules for recycling.
While most of the staff have provided good service, Ruby was FANTASTIC. (When she told me her name, she added «like the stone,» but «like the GEM» would have been much more accurate– she’s fabulous.)
Aside from my Eco-​guilt (assuaged a bit by the recent addition of the recycling program), my only other complaint is the fact that this location, located inside of Bloomingdale, does not accept the Bloomingdale’s credit card. I realize that it is a leased location, but so are the Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc boutiques at half a dozen major department stores– and they all except the department store cards.

Finally I purchased my nespresso machine., I can’t be more pleased… The espresso is delicious! No more standing in stressful Starbucks lines! Ruby at bloomies in chestnut hill is knowledgable and most helpful with everything! Thanks to her I made the decision to finally buy! I highly recommend to all!

Diane, Ruby and the Nespresso team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. At times, it can get a little busy when they are behind the counter making brews for customers and taking capsule orders. Be patient, because in the entire Boston metro area, you can only take home ‘sleeves” at p.o.s. from here and the Newbury Street location. Buying online is easy, but you also don’t have someone brewing you a cup of Stormio coffee.

I am a member of the Nespresso Club and have been enjoying Nespresso coffee for years. I was really excited about the new VertuoLine machine and stopped by the boutique at Chestnut Hill to sample the coffee. Although I arrived 20 minutes before the closing time, I was told that the tasting bar is closed and I will have to come back some other day to try the coffee. This is really disappointing and not a great marketing strategy for a new product.
