I came here based on a recommendation from a friend with glowing skin who swears by this place. Cara was my aesthetician and she did a fantastic job! My skin was glowing after, no redness no irritation. Will definitely be going back.

This place is a gem. I have been a client at Inside and Out for over 10 years now, and I am for sure a lifer. I am obsessed with my skin and these ladies are the only people I truly trust with my beauty needs. They are seasoned professionals with excellent training, and they are all so lovely to be around as well.
I have lived and traveled all over the world and have visited some of the best spas on the planet, but Inside and Out gives them all a run for their money. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of services and products they offer.
Whenever I am in the Boston area I always stop in for a facial, touch ups, and/​or products. Appointments are usually easily booked.
Don’t waste your money for overpriced spas in Boston covering their high rents. If you want the best of the best skincare in Massachusetts, Inside and Out is the place to go.

This place is inexpensive and fast, both huge pluses. The person who did my waxing was really friendly, also a big plus. However, it felt like I left with more wax on my person than in the pot and, given my current state of chub, couldn’t really see well enough to figure out how to remove it. I think I might also have been bleeding at the end of the waxing (again, couldn’t see, but saw red-​tinged gauze), which would be a first, and is consistent with the intense pain and application (both with and against the grain of the hair). Eyebrow was much better. I’d probably go back for that, but not the bikini…

The room was very tiny, and not very clean
The walls don’t touch the ceiling, and the entire spa can hear your conversation.
Overall — I wouldn’t mind this spa if it wasn’t overpriced. But I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience for $ 80. I would only pay $ 50 for this place.

Donna is an absolute professional and a dream esthetician. I have been coming here since I was little. They’re definitely a bit old fashioned, but that means 100% care and attention to detail. Best facials ever hands down. Not pushy about products, but they’ll let you know what they recommend and often give you some to try out at home to see what you think. Professional hard waxing. Competitive prices. Call Linda at the front desk to book ahead.

I have been all over the cities of Newton, Boston and Cambridge over the past 15 years for facials, Brazilian waxes and brows. Inside and Out is truly as good as it gets. I went for a facial, Brazilian and Eyebrow wax this week. Donna is the owner and is amazing. I had never had a Brazilian wax there before and IT WAS THE LEAST PAINLESS WAX I HAVE EVER HAD. I couldn’t believe it– I was shocked! She uses a thicker wax then I have seen at other places, maybe that’s the secret. I have had both Patty and Donna for facials and eyebrows and both do a great job. It is very relaxing but they also do thorough extractions and cleaning, which is what I really love about facials. My skin looks great. Donna doesn’t push her products, but I asked because I decided I needed to start taking better care of myself :). She suggested a line of products and so far so good. Between the facial and my new products a few people have already asked me what I did to my skin because there is a difference.
Everyone there is really nice, the place is very clean and I think the prices are reasonable (65 for a Brazilian, 80 for an enzyme facial and 30 for a lip and brow). I have decided I’m never going anywhere else!

I have been having Donna do my facials for twenty years. This woman is as good as it gets. I have a dermatologist in Palm Beach, and I actually trust Donna more in terms of honesty, and an understanding of my skin. When I have an issue, I go to her for advice, knowledge, and a sympathetic ear. She does not PUSH her products, but instead, suggests. My facials are thorough, cleansing, and effective. Am I a regular? Absolutely, because you have to be if you are serious about skin care. Every eight weeks I am in there. With that said, just a wonderful, supportive, friendly place. I have NO idea where the previous comments are coming from with other Unilocalers; rude, unfriendly? REALLY? Please… these women are gentle, kind, and delightful.

I have been going to Inside and Out for EVER! They are the most helpful staff whether they are doing waxing, facials or whatever service I have had. I had an infection that settled in my face and was in so much pain. I went in unannounced and asked what do I do. Within minutes, Donna and Bernie were taking me in and worked their magic together and helped me so much! It is not the most glamorous of spots, but it gets the job done and you leave feeling great!

I’ve gone to inside out for random services for the past few years. I’ve never been truly satisfied but it’s close to where I live, so I deal with their rude customer service, high prices and sub par facials & waxing. But after my last visit there, I’m done with them. I went in for a Brazilian, and most women know its not the most comfortable experience ever. Well the lady who waxed me made me feel even worse. She kept making comments on how much hair I had (I’m 100% Italian!) she missed a bunch of hair, and left a bunch of bits of wax on me that ended up getting stuck to my pants! The absolute worst part was while I was changing I over heard her laughing with the rude receptionist about me, and proceeded to charge me $ 15 extra saying she did more than usual. RUDE RUDE RUDE! DONE! Don’t waste your time! DONE!

Literally just came back from the least painful, most thorough Brazilian I have ever had (and I have been getting them done on the regular for 10 years). Chi is amazing. The wax they use is so painless, and without the painful strips. It is handmade in Vermont. Incredible. I usually pay 45 for a fast, thorough wax, but this was way worth the extra 20. I mean to walk away with literally no pain (and I will admit, I do have a high pain threshold — but I still feel the throb when it’s all over) is just mind blowing to me. .. and I basically walked-​in on a Tuesday afternoon. Can’t say enough good things about Chi!

I’ve been going to Inside and Out for years and I’m always happy with the results.
Their facials are very well done and extremely relaxing, it’s been a few years since the last time I had one but I always left with beautifully clean skin and the estheticians were always very friendly.
I go there regularly for bikini and leg waxing, it does depend a little bit on who does the waxing but generally I leave very satisfied. They use hard wax which is less painful and lasts longer, although it does take a bit longer to do the actual waxing (full leg + brazilian will take about an hour and 15 minutes). The only problem is it can be difficult to make an appointment so make sure to call a few days in advance because they can’t always fit you in, especially if you want a specific person.

I have gone there twice. I was given a gift certificate by some friends at work so it originally didn’t cost me anything. The first time I got a mani/​pedi. When I got there I was the youngest person by ten years. The color selection was almost non existent. I am used to a huge shelf of color choices but there was a tiny stand on the desk with pinks and reds. I decided to get a french instead. The manicurist asked me if I would like to have all my nails the same length (a few had broken recently) I told her yes and indicated the nail I would like them to look like. She filed away pretty much all of the length, leaving me with a pretty sad french manicure.
My second experience I decided to get a bikini wax. Donna was fairly pleasant, not much personality and a little gruff. It was pretty painless. When she was finished she told me that there were a few hairs that I should tweeze, which I wasn’t pleased about. And then when I got home I discovered a strip of hair that she completely missed. I got waxed so I didn’t have to worry about removing hair, but I had to anyway, I couldn’t leave that there.
Not impressed either time. I spent my whole gift certificate, so I won’t be going back.

Dropped in there today after being HOSED by Christine’s Day Spa and the lovely ladies at Inside Out squeezed me in for a pedicure, Susan did a terrific job and is very cool. The place is nice inside, really clean, and everyone working there bends over backwards.
I will definitely go back!

I won’t let anyone else wax my brows!
Once, I went to Dellaria to get my brows waxed… I was left with tiny little wisps of eyebrows a la Christina Aguilera. Not for me… plus, some of it never grew back:(These guys ALWAYS do an excellent job and they listen to what you ask of them instead of doing it their own way. Quick and relatively painless. I think I’ve been going for over 5 years!
