I go back and forth between and 2 and a 3 so it might need to be a 2.5 but honestly it could be a 2 much easier than a 3. The place isn’t the cleanest and parking is a mess, but overall it is fine. I like the location being down the street from me and walkable, so i wouldn’t change that. The staff is very hit or miss… i don’t recommend ordering sandwiches or food that is not a donut, as they really don’t put much effort towards it… kind of pathetic actually… :) The drinks are hit or miss… some people know what they are doing and others do not. Staff isn’t the most pleasant… but they do the job(not the quickest or to the highest standards, but done none the less).

Not sure why they have a low rating, been here plenty of times, good service and polite staff.

I love Dunkin’s but this location is awful. Their staff is a hit or miss when it comes to customer service but the worst part is how long it takes to get your order. I am extremely patient and understanding but 20 minutes for a bagel is unbelievable. I have gone here a bunch of times with the same result. It takes me less time drive to Dunks on Mt Auburn St in Watertown and order the same thing.(That Dunks is extremely efficient.) I wouldn’t recommend this Dunks unless you have time to kill and nothing better to do than wait in line for(usually) the wrong order(its’ happened multiple times).

I finally(reluctantly) got a Unilocal account. I only signed up because I have had such reliably fantastic service at this Dunkin Donuts that I felt I needed to share my experience. I live near this Dunkin and go in about once a week to get some donuts for my staff when we open.(I am in the restaurant business and am a harsh critic of any establishment in the food/beverage industry — especially fast food — especially Dunkin Donuts.) Every time I have visited this store, I have been helped by a friendly, energetic and quick staff. Often I will see a manager, and when I do he is right in the trenches with the staff making sure orders are made promptly and correctly. These guys have it figured out! If you have any bad experiences with breakfast places in the area, I highly recommend giving these guys a try. It’s true that parking is limited, but the service I regularly receive there is worth the minor inconvenience. Thank you to the staff for such excellent service!

Poor service(they forgot about my order) and long lines. The chicken salad croissant also looked like a bird regurgitated it or something.

Smallest parking lot of all time. I have NEVER stopped in here without being parked in, and then having to wait for(what seems like forever at that time in the morning…) people to get their coffees and get out and leave. Best part about this location: it has two large bathrooms that are frequently clean, and are not remotely unlocked — i.e., you don’t have to be buzzed in. This store has the usual small groups of old men sitting around in the early mornings sipping their small coffees, watching traffic, or reading the paper. Very cute, community base of customers, so I guess they won’t really miss me stopping in, cause I can’t handle the parking situation!

You started with five stars when I walked in, and wound up with one because Unilocal doesn’t do zero. 10pm, an hour before closing I went in to get something foodlike. Something eggy, sausagy, and cheesy. –2 stars, they can’t do it, she already cleaned the toaster. Can’t mess it up before morning. Holding true to my I’m gonna get your name and name you. Neiva D. That’s you. I’m sure your manager is happy that you have cut your evening menu in half by refusing to dirty your clean toaster. I had to end up with a chicken salad on a untoasted croissant. It’s still in the bag, untasted thus far. Needed something to drink, so ordered a small iced decaf«dark with sugar» came out lighter than a coffee milk. Tasted about the same. Gonna be trashed as I am semi lactose intolerant. I would have complained but didn’t want to bother her further. So –2 more stars. In this economy, if you don’t serve the customer well, have listening skills to get things right the first time, there are 10 people waiting around just hoping for steady work regardless of the pay. Neiva, if I was your boss, you’d be gone. Work your shift, close, then clean the Damn toaster. You get paid for the hours and minutes worked, so why rush out. Total Fail 1 star.

Took about 10 mins to get an iced coffee when there were only 3 people in front of me who each ordered 1 coffee. There were 4+ people behind the counter. When I finally got to order my iced coffee with one cream and one sugar, I got an iced coffee with lots of sugar and tons of cream. When I asked if it was one cream and one sugar, i was told«yes» but it was obviously not. Needless to say, I tossed the coffee and will never go back there! Beware!!!

I used to frequent this Dunks almost every day for about 2 years and IN all the time i went there I never had a bad order. But i guess once you’re on a first name basis with the manager they tend to take extra care of you.

Yo Dunkies– why do you have to hurt me like this??? I live so close to you, I can see your warm pink and orange glow taunting me when I pull onto Watertown street every morning. And yet after 15 years, I drive all the way through Watertown Sq to get my fix from the DD’s on Mt Auburn St. Your service sucks so badly that I will NOT enter your crappy little location ever again. It’s not hard to make the daily coffee transaction pleasant– I don’t ask for much. Just give me a coffee as quickly as you can when I come in. You don’t have to smile, or know how I take my joe-I’ll tell you when I get up to the counter. Just give me what I ask for and let me go to work. And keep you bitchy I hate my job attitude to yourself. Open up a second register and let the people buy their friggin coffee! oh– and make the coffee fresh, like you’re supposed to. It take 30 minutes for that lava hot stuff to cool off enough to taste. When you wait that long, it shouldn’t be burnt and bitter! The coffee at other Dunkies doesn’t suck– yours shouldn’t either!

This is one the better DDs around. The staff is friendly and most importantly they are speedy! In the morning I typically feel like I’m running late and I want my coffee as quickly as possible. During rush hour they have both registers running, each with a cashier and an assistant making the coffee while the cashier rings you up. This keeps the line moving. There is also plenty of parking in their lot or in the free municiple lot accross the street. There is no need to mess with parallel parking or double parking.
